First Grow: Outdoor Autoflower Blueberry & AK-47 In Pots With Dr. Earth Soil

On to the plants themselves...

Here's Blueberry 2 (day 50) which seems to be very happy with the LST I've given it.

Because it's been so hot lately (got up to 88° under the CFLs last night), I watered with TigerBloom ½ tsp/gal and Open Seseme ¼ tsp/gal this morning. Not much runoff this time so next watering it'll get more than the 1 gallon I have been doing.

AK-47 on day 51.

This plant doesn't seem to have the big main cola at the top unless all that space will be filling in. The Blueberry had a single unbroken flower at the top and this looks different:

AK also got watered with TigerBloom ½ tsp/gal and Open Seseme ¼ tsp/gal this morning. I'll be using some of the water for this plant on Blue 2, as the AK has plenty of runoff.

And finally, Blueberry 1 at 61 days. The top seems to be putting on some weight.

The lower buds have many more orange pistils. Could that mean I'll be harvesting from the bottom up??

Or are they just reacting to the Dr Earth and BT spray since I had to spray the entire plant to keep it from being eaten?

Just a grasshopper, bud. Shouldn't be anything to worry about. Glad you got the caterpillars sorted out. They can be nasty.

Yes, it was eating all the lower fan leaves I had left. Next time I prune a plant I have to allow for that!

Hahaha bruh I feel u on that damn caterpillars were having a field day on mine too had to nuke them say a baby caterpillar this morning and Squashed him ....left his body for his homies to see

So I went out to have a closer look at the lower buds on Blue 1 and noticed it was just one bud that had the orange pistils and the burnt looking leaves. I'm thinking of snipping it off. Your thoughts?

As I mentioned to 420dabbing, since I don't know what's causing the brown spots and the early browning of these specific pistils, I'm not sure it's lung-worthy. I don't smoke any more so I'm growing for all the folks around me who do. I plan on making canna lotion and canna root lotion with the trimmings/roots and letting the smokers give me the smoking results.

In the end, there's no reason to chance it with these buds since there should be enough on the rest of the plant to go around.

That quick? I thot I had a week or so. I'm not seeing any amber in the trichs. Do they start to turn gradually or all of a sudden?

Also, I figured to be harvesting from the main cola down over a few days, not bottom up.

Yeah as the "hairs" (pistols) turn brown thats natural the entire plant will turn that color over the next couple of days up to a week she will finish and you can cut her as for no longer smoking i wouldnt throw those buda in the freezer i would wet trim throw that in the freezer and dry out the buds and use that as samples for some of your friends who do smoke or press it
