First Grow Ever - Humboldt Dream 2024

Gave each of the babushkas 8 gallons of water today. Defoliated dead crispy leafs only.

Appears to still be transitioning from clear to milky and I see a tiny amber but it's not even close to where I want it. Glad I didn't harvest after closer inspection it could use a good week or two like @Bill284 was saying.

Yes, bill has a tendency to know what he’s talking about - he can be a jerk like that lol :)

I'm close to ready been relaxing this week that's kinda preparing haha 😄

Are you going to harvest soon bill? You got some rain in the Forcast I see.

@budnoob3 yeah that comes with lots of experience and good intentions im sure. I bet hes just sick of telling people advice and them not taking it. Everything he says I take into consideration. Hasn't had a senile moment on me yet. Haha

Even the worst of us want to help and learn even when we can’t admit it yet. You’d be surprised how much you learn every day after many years, hopefully we never stop learning and sharing…

I couldn't agree more. Glad this website exists it's beneficial for us all!

I’m looking forward to the day that bill, azi, gee, myself and all of you are showing the world how to grow everything we need in the most recyclable, repeatable and healthful way for us all and future generations. We have the platform and early evidence of what’s possible. Combining the rudimentary simplistic methods combined with all our knowledge we can dispel the myths and make it so everyone can contribute. That is my dream and goal. Simple yes?

Its a admirable dream and definitely can be a reality as long as we all keep making an effort to learn and help others. That's what I live for.

15th will be 9 weeks.
Bubba Whip in the 100l. Bag is first, the purple one.
Hopefully ill start on the 15th ish and just keep trimming for 2 weeks and finish everyone.
But But But the other 3 are a month behind.
So I'm just going to hope for the best and string them along as long as I can and hope they finish before I'm shoveling the driveway.
That's what happens when you grow pot outside in a cold climate.
Harvest is a crap shoot. :Namaste:
It's all good though LIG.:thumb: Right Buddy :high-five:

Sometimes I feel like Jesus debating with the Pharisees and Sadducees. More proof of how much I think of myself at times :) keep me humble friends :)

Don't let the Roman's hear you say that. And nothing wrong with thinking about yourself as long as you don't let ego go to your head.

Have you ever had a grow get snowed on? I never even thought of that as a possibility where I live. Snow normally falls around February and March here. Hopefully you can keep them alive Bill I have confidence you will come up with something 😉 only growing 4 plants this year so you definitely got this! I remember one year a freak storm hit and i had to help my friend harvest 32 plants in one night. By the time the sun came up we had his whole house filled with wet plants and we started a fire inside the fireplace and trimmed for a week straight... my hands felt broken by the end of it but I had a hash ball the size of a baseball and a pound of weed to show for it 😆 I can't recall how much went to the hash gods but it was alot.

lol friend, I grew up in CT and spent 10 years in MN. Believe you me I’ve seen snow and freeze albeit not to the level our poor friends in CA have learned to endure. I’ve also been in tropics of NC and Fl which makes me uniquely qualified to speak a little about growing in hades as well. Again, inflated head aside, happy to help where I can :)

And I have no worries for bills success or failures. In fact, extremely confident any failures he shares are for educational purposes to benefit us all. Just like many others here we are yet to meet!

Here you go. First year in the greenhouse.
I lost 4 pounds approximately and saved 4 pounds.
It was rot that caused the loss not frost.
