First Grow Ever - Humboldt Dream 2024

I'm doing great actually, just cleaning the house up getting ready for harvest cleaning out a room for processing setting up fans and a spot to chill and trim listen to music.
Sounds super relaxing! 👌
How was your weekend buddy your living in the future right? 😄
Weekend was great. Met a new girl in a coffee shop yesterday, got a date with her this week!
Went to the casino last night, lost $2,500 🤣
Pumping out an intense session at the gym right now, farthest thing from relaxation 🤣

Haha I bet good luck with the new lady friend! Oh boy 2500$! Daaang tassy you must be rolling in the cash 😄

I don't see any amber do you guys? Looks all milky white though.
I think you need more clarity in your trichome shots, so that you can plainly see clear, milky, and amber.

This is actually my Humboldt Dream from June of this year, when I should have harvested it, but I waited a little too long and the harvest was destroyed by bud rot.

What I'm using now for my trichome shots is my Redmi Note 10 Pro phone which has a nice quad lens camera with a great macro lens. Before I got the phone, I relied on a Carson MicroBrite handheld microscope, $15. I also sometimes use my Celestron USB microscope/cam for super close-ups.

Here's some more of my trichome pics...

I definitely need better equipment to get better photos

Thanks buddy, I really like this one, super positive vibes and the way we met was like something you'd read in a book! Lol I was only there like an hour, thank God! Yeah, trust fund baby, so I do alright 👌
But i certainly ain't one of those rich snobby fucks! LOL

This is the raw image from the phone. Fungus was already starting to set in on the stigmas. ...this is what life is like here where I live in Hawaii... it's mold city. I would have needed to harvest at the first sign of any amber. HI-BISCUS would do much better than this... more resin production and more pine terps.

Sounds awesome bro. Glad you found a nice catch 👍 👏
Thanks buddy, I don't think I've had a real girlfriend since highschool. I was a f##*boy for the last probably 10yrs, never wanted a relationship. But I've grown up mentally now, I'm over that life, would be good to find someone to settle with 👌

Same bro...

This was my Cherry Blossom CBD #9 pheno in May of this year. Amazing strong plant and no fungus. Great harvest, but not a lot of amber.

Looks like you didn't even wait for the pistils to mature lol

that photo was before harvest. I think the stigmas were almost all brown at harvest. BUT... once again, having to be careful about bud rot, so leaning toward an early harvest. The bud rot here is relentless and traumatizing. Leaf mold is bad also. HI-BISCUS was mind blowing, because it was just completely resistant to bud rot.
Are you extracting?
That's one of my goals, but I'll need to produce a lot more flower and some equipment. My grow is in a lull at the moment, in transition to SIPs. I'm doing a comparison grow, and also building more SIPs to plant my clones in.
