yea it's pretty farfetched which is why I also stated I don't care to look into it other than what I found on a simple browser search.
There was also advice on what you alluded to. "Treating it as a weed" and how to tell by just growing the thing out.
But I digress
 
You could clone the plant and as soon as the clone roots throw it under 12/12.

But Mel's right, after the plants reach the 4th or 5th node it it is sexually mature and will start growing with alternating nodes. Then you can start looking for preflowers and the males often show first.

But, it takes extra time in veg to let the plant grow before a flip. Since you're probably going to deal with height issues later in a small tent like that, keeping the canopy low, flat, and wide is going to help you.

You still don't know the sex of the plant yet, do you? I'd hate to see you go through all the veg training work and wind up with a male. I've only grown a photo feminized plant before, so I'm not sure what people do in veg as far as training goes when it's a mystery.

I also disagree with growing it out,, I plant nothing but “ feminized “ seeds and even that isn’t an exact Science , your still looking at 1-2% male or hermi.. I sex all of my young plants regardless. Takes effort to grow a garden and I don’t take anything for granted

Hello everyone happy Sunday... So today makes 7 days since the transplant. She seems to be doing well in the tent and her new pot. So I started hanging a little weight on her leaves to try and spread her out. I don't think I will top her I think that I will (fim) her.. a friend of mine brought me some jack last night so I smoked and geeked out all night on training plants an since she is already almost six weeks I will try this not that I think it matters much but it is just the training that I liked... But I will not cut her until tomorrow I am going to let her get used to the wight

So, the idea with LST is to make the top dominant node lower than the others to stimulate the hormones to get spread around more rather than concentrating on that top bud. Topping the plant has the same effect.

LST also helps to spread the other nodes out from each other a bit, but the primary goal is focused on the hormones.

Yes, I am just getting it ready tomorrow I will be tieing them to some welding rods an stick's. Just taken it slow, I promised her if she didn't die last week I would be very gentle with her.. 🤣💚
 
Hey 504 .. I see you trimmed up all the lower crap ... good thing, moves the energy up. Keep reading all you can, It can sometimes seem like a slow process when you see the plant every day ,, Just try not to push for more than she can give.. Its a thing we all have in common , apply your force and then give her week before you force her again.. you’re doing a decent job, now sit back and enjoy
 
Yes I love reading info on the amazing things bud can do , the medical benefits are amazing and I do believe they're just scratching the surface,, and I read /research on ways I can give her the best chance at life because I know she will reward me in the end.. An she is my first so she is special... Lol
 
Good morning everyone here's a few pictures I took before I went to work. She looks really good this morning I fim her yesterday right before lights out and it seems like she went through a little growth spurt . The only thing is her leaves look shiny is that normal I don't know if you can see it in the pictures??
