First CFL Grow Using 30 Watt CFLs

Are you talking about the mass thats finished in 48 days? yea I forget who grew that bud they got a BEAUTIFULLL Yield and FAT NUGS. single seed centre is all out or else Id have one...

Man i started looking at Critical Mass a couple days ago, that shit looks insane! I would love to run a full 2l hempy. Hmm gotta save up for some seeds or find a good clone....Cant wait til my Pre 98 Bubba and pre 2000 White Widow Mothers are ready to give clones!!!

@Jim, im not to sure the government would go far enough to legalise it like that, would be damn nice if they did, only time will tell.
thanks for all the kind words, ill be checking a few of them strains out, im thinking i want a couple of plants i can veg a while and get a big yield and then a couple or 3 2ltr dwc hempies with fat single buds, the hempie i got at the minute is getting fatter and fatter, it looks like its going to be one big fat bud by the looks of it.
ill put some pics up tomorrow when i get the camera back.
the grasslead rizla i found was ok, had no problems with licking them, they even seem easier to roll with as the feel less likely to rip, i did not notice any taste or smell from them, i tried the blue colour first, saving the pink for best, roll on the kush, few days left possibly around 7 or 8 on the kush but ill let it go till their mostly amber, i found they did burn slightly slower and had to light it a couple of times, but it was lucky as after the 2nd joint i was falling asleep and could of burned the place down, but i never, this bud is so much better than anything i have bought recently, thanks or all the advice with my grow.
now who was it who mentioned the lights, was it miwa, anyway, at the minute i have got the kush and 2ltr dwc hempie under the hps, but ive got a small cupboard that has my clones in and now has my new chronic fruity seed in it, it only has 3 x 30 watt 6500k cfl's just to keep the clones ticking over and keep the seedlings growing, and to be honest even when i had 13 cfls in the veg room they didnt grow any quicker than these, in fact the clones under only 3 lights seem to be growing better and look more healthier than the parent plants did in the big veg room under a load of lights, so not sure what to make of it.
so to answer your questions id have to say, yes and no, while i have got the 2 plants finishing in flower for the next couple of weeks im using the minimum cfls to keep the plants ticking over and costs down as i dont want to be running loads of watts where i live, so as soon as the hps has flowered the plans off il be using the dual spectrum for veg but will probably only run at 18-6, or im possibly thinking of throwing a few cfls in their and giving the glr a try, but some plants flower under glr so ill see how it goes.
day 1 of delicious fruity chronic juice in soil under 20-4 cfls, i put this in the soil today, so ill see how it goes, the seed cracked very quick and root starting to grow so put it in the pot and we will see how it goes, it is femenised so hoping it is a fem, trying not to waste room and time weeding out males just yet, i do want to breed plants at some stage but need to find the right parents first, or possibly ill make a fem go hermy to get pollen and be done with males all together, possibly take clone and then make it go hermy to get pollen so i only end up with a load of fem seeds,

Critical mass is a great plant, in fact my upcoming scrog (seedling now) is critical sensi star which is critical mass x sensi star which are both great strains, super yields, and finishes flowering in 50-55 days!! Citric taste but pretty pungent smell. Definitely will knock you on your ass though, not a daytime smoke. I've heard the fruity chronic is a fun plant, you should enjoy it. Delicious seeds who makes the fruity also makes the critical sensi star.
And don't worry it is a female, in feminized seeds there is only x chromosomes so no chance of getting a make without the y chromosome or a hermie. Which will happen with unstable strains or stress but I think you got the stress part under control and delicious seeds is a good company. Oh ya can you check the pH and ppm of your nutrient solution just to put my curiosity to rest?

i like the tight nodes CFLs make...i just had so many plants i found myself using a lot of watts but my lumens wasn't increases that much...that made me start researching...i needed more lumens...
I used to buy critical mass back in 2003-2004, like they say not a daytime smoke. I crashed my car after smoking a joint.(dont smoke and drive people!) I smoke a lot and this stuff used to be the best you could get...one joint knockout. it's funny because i always though it was my dealers own strain, he used to grow it and was the only guy I've ever seen have it in my area or even heard of it. oooh the wonders of the internet, every strain I've ever heard of available to the globe with the click of a button!
PS my auto critical+ is looking sweet, looks like a real plant now not a fugly bush. got the classic critical kick, lemon and cronic!
PPS You shouldn't look for big cola plants since you have no tent/sealed room, your get bud rot with RH over around %50 and no way could you get it lower then that with the door open and no extractor fans.

ill be looking into the mass strains,
@teSmp, ill check when i get home mate and let you know,
also my humidity is pretty low even with door open, humidity seems higher with the door shut possibly due to the air not moving around so much in sealed room,

just trying to put some pics on if they came out ok, only had chance for a few quick ones so ill do a big update tomorrow or day after, just a quick peep at 2 of my plants if they came out ok

now if these process ill be amazed, im using my fone as dongle again and its all on a go slow, network must be busy, so you might get these you might not.
anyway below is a few pics of the 2ltr hempie buds
below is the branches i got left on the bottom, while i was ill they got pretty big so im thinking it might be best to leave the one set and just remove the lower with very little bud on it, so shall i leave just 2 side branches on it as they have a nice amount of bud on and just remove these lower branches with not much bud or should i just leave it as is and not mess with it
below is a couple of bud shots of the kush, not good pictures as i didnt have time to mess with the settings on the camera, plus id prefer to show pics when the plants in natural light so the trichs dont glow, so ill take some more pics tomorrow day time and post pics of my veg room and all in flower,
now the kush did start to show some orange hairs, but over the last few days it seems to have slowed down and stopped producing orange hairs and all im getting now it white pistils again, the buds are getting fatter and fatter but the hairs are not orange, the trichs are pretty clear with only a few select buds having some cloudy trichs, so its got some time to go yet me thinks, but just looking at the buds it looks a lot better than the nl x bb, the buds look nicer and more full and lot more trichs, im hoping to grow the clones out properly and end up with decent plant, im thinking i should get more branch growth from the clones as this is only 3 nodes high believe it or not and that was after 7 weeks the nl x bb was only 4 nodes high, so not sure how big these would get, but i was using cfls to start with which did keep them small and compact so im thinking if i veg with the hps i should get bigger plants, how ever the nl x bb was a stinky plant so ill possibly keep that small and try and get the kush pretty big, either that or the juicy will get big i got more seeds i could try but i dont want to try a seed and only have small plant due to grow room size, so ill try and keep my numbers down so i can have 2 or 3 decent plants and possibly 2 x hempies, although this could change depending on size of the plants in the bigger pots, but i got time to sort all that out yet so no rush just yet

i cant get my hand to close when i put it around the bud on the hempie, its going to be the fattest bud i have got off any of the plants, i know it wont be really long as i went 12-12 from seed, but i recon if i did 2 weeks under 20-4 or 24-0 and then flipped to 12-12, im sure i would have got a huge bud, i may even try this with one of the clones, ill veg it and get it pretty big but keep it in 2ltr hempie container and keep it trimmed so its growth is only on the stem, no side branches what so ever, so as i got 2 x nl x bb clones i may try it with this, veg it and let it grow a while and remove all side growth and then flip to 12-12, im sure i can improve, im thinking these plants will grow a lot quicker in dwc or aero/ hydro grow, as its what i have read, the only down side i have heard is that soil grow produces smaller better tasting bud than hydro, but for me i dont think i would notice the difference, so if i can produce the same amount of bud from 1 hempie as i would for a whole plant then i could fit 4 2ltr hempies possibly 5 in the same space it would take for a 3 gallon pot, so the question is, given the same amount if veg time would i get more yield of 1 x 3 gallon pot soil grow, or would i get more of 5 x 2ltr dwc hempie, now if i knew the answer to that id know which way to go, the only thing i have concerns about is pm issues, i wouldnt want to get that in my bud as it would be a huge loss to me as i dont grow that much, but i suppose i wont learn how to deal with these problems if i dont hit them head on would i.

doing my best surfbuddy, if it wasnt for all the help and advice i got during the grow i wouldnt have got what i got now, but im so grateful to all the advice and guidance and kindness people have shown me, this site really is the best by far, really are a better quality of people one here, so i owe a lot to everyone, so im hoping that over the next few grows you will all see that it was worth it and i really do appreciate all ive learned along the way,
so onwards and upwards and all been well i can only get better and better, i will try new things along the way, some may not work and some might like my clones that was just tops from when i topped it less than an inch long and i tried cloning and they lived, also the 2ltr hempie is new to me so i give it a go i had 2 and one was male due to growing from seed, and i like what i see with the fem i got left so its something i will work in to my grows and have growing as well so i can try out new strains without having to do the long veg, plus i can take clones so if i like what i end up with then i can use the clone and do a longer veg on it, so i got lots i want to try, lots to learn and im sure ill hit problems along the way but if i dont have these problems then ill never know what to do when they happen again, so its best i get them out the way first and then when it happens again i wont be in a flap wondering what to do,
im happily medicated right now, feeling nice and relaxed and just melting into the sofa about now, so if im feeling like this i think that the end results speak for themselves, its better than anything i have smoked in the last 6months, probably longer, but now im not paying for crap i can now produce what i want and get the quality i want,

it looks sort of like a trophy as the both side branches are above each other so its not growing in a X shape, so from one side it looks like a main stem with 2 branches either side, but when you turn it to the side it looks like 1 big bud, but front view looks like a trophy
