Yeah I been looking at them. I need to buy a light, was looking at a cree led but this does look better. Wasn't sure if it needed cooling (extra noise) and the footprint.. that for $800 is around what led would cost, maybe a new bulb less.. just thinking out loud. I'm sold.. that with two 90w led panels in 4x4 should be plenty..

warmth in my grow room would be a welcome thing, lol.. I don't worry about the smell, not too bad.. haven't had my filter or exhaust up for year now, maybe longer..I just bring air into the tent and have top of tent vent open with duct running into roof, a warm air passage. It rises doesn't it, works here anyway :rofl:

So i bought a 2017 Diary from Officeworks today and probably best thing i could have done, will be so much easier keeping track of everything, kinda like i do on here but to look back on here would be a nightmare if i needed to find something :rofl: I just sat here and planned out my next 6 months of growing :rofl: by rights i should harvest 11 plants by mid june, including the 2 im about to harvest in a few days, Viper and Psycho as seen above. This is the number im aiming towards, unless of course i gain more grow space between now and then :) This should be harvests almost every two weeks, should keep me on my toes, need to get my new lights cranking :thumb:

Im guessing it would be pretty similar to a HPS system, for me i will mount them in a similar fashion to my current hood which is as high as possible, I have actually cut a hole in the top of my tent and most of the hood is above the tent :thumb: this way i use my DWC system to lower the plant as it grows closer rather than lifting lights etc, I find it easier when running perpetual this way as every plant is at a different stage and is a different size, to effectively do it with lights id need a light per plant :thumb: I will work out distance pretty quickly, you will notice a slow in stretch when they get too close ;)

That harvest looks great mate
I've been looking at swapping to the 315 and from what I've read they are great for coverage and run cool which is a big plus for me.The only negative I've read is that the buds seem to be more fluffy if you do a complete grow with them apparently

Damn black thumbs, doesn't take much for me to jump off.. I've gone from sold to unsold now. A want to grow hard nuggets not fluff...

I've just looked at a tube clip of a grow using them and they looked solid to me.When I looked into them last year there wasn't a lot of real grows on them but now that's not the case.Check out you tube grizz im Deffinatly sold now:)

I didnt have any complaints about it being fluff on my last grow. Probably
could have let it go a bit longer which i'll be doing this time for fatter buds again.

The cmh light is real bright. Bleaching can be a bit of a problem if you get too close.

Give it a couple of months and i should have a good idea what one of these
lights can produce from veg to harvest. Judging by how my plants have been going,
they like this light. The hydro bloke reckons 1.5 grams per watt can be achieved or
more depending on strain and how it's grown.

Thanks mate :) im lovin this stuff from this harvest, bloody awesome stuff. I think any light will produce fluffy results if not grown correctly, it would more come down to the nutrient side of things than lights, if i can grow a half decent plant under CFL im sure CMH with way more lumens would grow even better plants :thumb:

Tbh I dont think you would grow fluff, im sure if thats all it produced they wouldnt be so talked about and nobody would want to use them :thumb:

I should have mine next week :) just finished chatting to the bloke, going to cost me about $1350 all up delivered :thumb:

Yea feral I was going off what I read a year ago when no one used them really but after looking again today they are Deffinatly proving themselves.Will be my next purchase in my January budget allowed:)

As long as you dont mind me photo dropping feral i might just put up another pic of the last grow under this light.
Try and get some more people on board and see what we can get out of these things.
