Bovedas are awesome but are only for the cure, you need to dry the buds first, i wait till the stems snap not bend, once they snap they are dry enough to go into the jars with bovedas. I use an 8g sachet for each oz i jar, usually put an oz in a jar and then a boveda, another oz on top and then another boveda etc, i find they work the best when on top of the bud not underneath.

I usually try to keep it on the side of the jar to keep all buds hitting the 62. But if on top is better then I'll give it a shot. Currently i am starting my cure without any. I still have a small "plant" odor which is chlorophyll trying to evaporate. So daily i take out of jars completely sit on a drying rack. Then rejar. In a day or so I'll add my boveda 62 to the jars and only open twice a day 15 mins long. Hope this makes for a good cure

Works no matter of the placement really but i just found if i put one on the bottom of the jar it didnt really do anything up against the glass, kinda the same if it was up against the side, in the middle of the jar seemed to keep buds perfect above and below, another one in the top keeps it from drying out :)

One night and im already seeing a major improvement in the cure with the 58% bovedas compared to the 62's :) buds pulled apart a lot better and grinded up to a much better consistency, burned nicer too :thumb: I find with the 62% bovedas i have to pull buds out in the morning so they are ready when i go to smoke, with the 58's its straight out of the jar :)
Im guessing it comes down to personal preference and how you smoke really, Being a bong smoker i like it a bit dryer and smaller particles like using 58's, if i was to smoke joints the 62's would probably be better, bit more fluffy and grinds up to bigger particles :thumb:

Bit of a quick update, didnt grab any pics last night, ended up in bed early for a change :rofl: White Jack had grown another 3" overnight, 2" more for Snake venom :) My original plans were to finish jarring up the Red Diesel but still didnt feel right to me, stems were still a little bendy, had a little snap to them but didnt break, should be done this afternoon when lights come on :thumb:
I am loving this Red Diesel, smoke is so good and potency is right up there, the thing im liking most about it is the more you smoke, the higher you get. I find with a lot of my strains i have flowered, they get you very stoned but you get to a certain point and no matter how much more you smoke, you dont get any higher, Red Diesel just keeps going, even smoking another strain first and then switching to RD you can feel its power :)

Its more of an up high, doesnt make you want to sleep, sitting here i dont really want to do anything, but as soon as i get up i feel like i can do anything :rofl: mostly feels like its affecting the head more than body, takes me back to the kind of stuff i used to smoke when i was a teenager :) although it may become a bit devastating after the cure, only been in a jar for a couple of days now, i think its going to be a keeper in my garden and may try some breeding with her when i find a good match :thumb:

Some updates, In the flower tent everything is running smoothly, Snake venom still staying short but stretching away every day. Her reservoir will be changed out soon.

White Jack, another 3" of stretch overnight so now standing in at 38" tall :) will be dropping her down to ground level tonight. She started showing some pistils last night and a few more tonight so shouldnt be long now before we get some action :thumb:

Just finished weighing up round 2 of Red Diesel, this was just the top drying rack. So far of just primo buds i am up to 11oz, well about a gram short :rofl:

So this is whats left and i will attack it tomorrow night, im guessing at least another oz, some good buds left but it all needs a trim :)

Thanks mate, i cant get enough of it :) going to keep 3oz for my own personal stash hehe, made those 3oz up in almost just colas :rofl: i put the 3 best colas in a jar of their own and they will get a good 6-12 month cure before i even open the jar again :thumb:

Im still hanging to open the jar of Atomic i have had curing since 4/20 last year, going to be my 4/20 smoke this year :) Bowl is empty now, all in jars :rofl: Its some tasty stuff though, cant imagine it getting any better after cure but it will :)

Its one of my favorites, devastatingly good, my most asked for bud :rofl: was another really foxtaily strain like my Red Diesel, from memory yield was around 10oz :thumb: I almost let it die after running it a few times, saved it and brought it back from flower, its the one vegging in my tent now :) im planning on making her into a full on monster before she hits the tent again, probably under the CMH lights when i get them. Great thing about her is 8 weeks under 12/12 and shes done, nice and quick.

Thanks mate, still not sure on the sex of the Sour so not planning anything really with it right now hehe, if it shows fem it will be next in the tent, i have purposely left all the lower growth which will be removed for clones if it is a girl :) I wish i had a DWC for Incredible Bulk, its ready to transplant, hydro shop wasnt open the other day so couldnt get more.

superb looking garden friend,, i am currently researching a simple dwc experiment to see iffin i can fit this system into my operation.
