Managed to pick up a couple more 15L DWC's today so will be setting at least one of them up tonight for Incredible Bulk :thumb: Also was starting to run low on FloraNectar so i went for the Pineapple Rush this time, anyone used it before? does it actually add any flavor as there are about 5 different flavors available lol, I have just been using the Sugar Cane one up until now which would have the least amount of aroma/flavor out of the whole range. Quite interested on hearing anyones opinions on it that have used it or one of the other flavors :thumb:

I kinda got what i needed, not what i wanted though :rofl: I was hoping the hydro shop would have the 315w CMH kits but they dont :( i was going to buy 2 of them today, have to order them in from elsewhere. Miss bulk is in a DWC now, will wait for growth to start then i will begin with her topping and defol :) updates coming soon... :passitleft:

Should be fun to watch her bulk up, no pun intended :) Im expecting her to be a good yielder, seen her grown so many times and even in the worst case she has had huge buds :thumb: yours was the one that pushed me over the edge to buy them hehe, if she doesnt produce its your fault :rofl: just kidding :)

They do have a range of THC values for the Bulk. 20 - 24%.
I wonder if the higher range is taking some of the phenos into account.

The one that I just grew is a real torcher since she has hit the cure zone.
Real bonk bonk on the head type weed. Glorious.

The taste and smell is very strong with lemon. Only one I have had like that.

Awesome, i love me some lemony weed :) hope mine is the same pheno, yeah the THC % would be the general range they got from tests, what you actually find might be completely different, there are chances of different phenos but being fem seeds they will all be very similar, being from a reputable breeder the strain would be backcrossed over and over to stabilize it to produce almost identical plants :thumb:

I may not get the yield i got with RD due to how long i vegged her for compared to what bulk will see but im quite confident the buds should be fat and gorgeous nonetheless :) i will be taking clones from her anyways so if shes as good as she looks, she will be run again ;) got another 4 seeds too for later :rofl:

Some updates :)

Starting with the Flower tent, White Jack better slow down or there aint gonna be enough room for her :rofl: another 3" overnight, this is nuts :rofl: now standing in at 41" tall from the top of the netpot lid :) starting to bust out with pistils all over, close up photos turned out yellow so cant see shit.

Snake venom has had a noticeable stretch overnight also, i have not been keeping up with her measurements so i have lost track :rofl: will measure her tomorrow night, should have another big night ahead of her as i just changed her reservoir out :thumb:

Now Viper Cookies is looking decent again and right in time, about 5 days left before i chop her out ;)

Psycho is also about 5-6 days from harvest, not looking bad at all either, that resin production is off its head, im definitely interested in running it again with more attention next time :thumb: last pic is right in the back corner of the tent and is blurry because of zoom, can still see how frosty she is underneath them leaves :)

Over in the Veg tent, Incredible Bulk was transplanted from soil to a new DWC, while i was at it i had a play around with the air pump manifold i bought not long ago and regulated every DWC in veg to produce almost exact amount of air :thumb: this should allow me to run more DWC's with a nice even flow of air :) actually thinking of going back to 4" airstones for veg as the 6" is overkill and takes a lot more air to run, again meaning im running less buckets than i could be. Anyways, here is Bulk.

Not a lot else was done tonight apart from checking PH's, Atomic, White Jack and Sour D were solid at 5.8, the others were quite acidic, needed some PH up. Now that im starting to see the PH shifting i will change the reservoirs out over the next few days.

Sour D, I have decided this will enter the tent next, if it shows any signs of being male it will be instantly cut out as i dont need another male ;)

I up potted the sour D male clone and gave it a feed last night, starting to see some new growth, wont be long now and i can get the breeding happening. I changed out the reflector tonight to another HPS one i had laying around, put the CFL globe in and used the adapter to plug it into the timer :)

What's with the 315 man? What's the footprint of one? Could one flower a 4x4? 315watts? Globe replacement two years? Does the light need to be air cooled? $830 I've seen, found better?

the 315's are a much lower wattage putting out higher PAR and globes last a long time, not to mention they are more of a full spectrum :thumb: 1 should do a 4x4 and is in comparison with a 600w. Now if i run 2 of these its about the same power draw i use with my 600 but double the results and not replacing lamps every 6 months. Light does not need to be air cooled as it runs a lot cooler than HPS also :thumb: right now im looking at 2x Hi-Par Sunstorm Pro kits at $1260 but waiting to hear back from the shop for shipping costs so will let you know how i go ;)

Dont you have ballast? Why would you need to buy new ones for these? Can you run two lights off of one ballast?

I have a digital Ballast meaning i can run either a 600w HPS or MH bulb at 50-75-100-110%, i cant run 2 lights from one unless i buy a specific ballast that runs 2 lights like the nanolux 2x600 which runs around the 1000w. The 315's are a completely diff technology, they need their own ballast and can only run the CMH bulbs(Ceramic Metal Halide, also known as LEC, Light Emitting Ceramic), even the way the bulbs plug in you need an adapter if you want to use your original reflector, easier just buying the full kit and getting everything you need.

That isnt a bad price. If you get them going i'm going to be super jealous.
You should be able to have some fun under them things. Only thing i
would recommend if you dont have it, is a decent reflecer/hood than
the old wing type jobs.

Want to make use of all that cmh goodness.

I used to run the old wing type reflector and switched for this grow. I
personally reckon it's made a huge difference. Seems to push the light down through the
plants. Maybe i'm a bit stoned. Dunno.

Would be real keen to see what sort of coverage you get in a bigger area
and how the plants respond. My area is very small and light could be better
utilised.

Pretty exciting stuff. Now i want another one.

The kits im looking at come with their own reflector which looks pretty decent and very similar to my OG hood if you go for the parabolic style, i will go for the horizontal hoods though as light spread will be better in my bigger tent :thumb:

Yeah mate each kit has a Hi-Par Ballast, Hi-Par reflector (either horizontal or vertical bulb configuration) and a phillips 930 bulb :thumb: a few people have them in sydney but found the best deal up near newcastle so will try through them ;)

I'd have thought if hanging vertical, hang lower without reflector, is that wrong? Which is best horizontal or vertical in the reflector?

Depends what you are after really, if you have a smaller space id go for the vertical (parabolic), they sit further up in the reflector which is almost the same as my OG hood, directs light straight down and has a lot better penetration through the canopy but doesnt have a good spread. The horizontal reflectors have a wider spread but not as much penetration to the canopy, the main thing is im trying to light all areas of my tent not just directly underneath the hoods which is the main problem im facing right now with the OG hood, i can grow one big plant in the middle of my tent and thats about it, ive been pushing it by sticking plants in the corners but tbh they are not getting anywhere near what they need there, its like growing in the dark :rofl:
