Yeah there are a few of them around that price, doesnt come with the bulb and reflector though, bulb itself is close on $200 for a phillips, need to remember also if using the adapter on your own hood it cant have glass or will block the UV-B which is the whole reason for running these lights :thumb:
 
Found kit for $750.. on sale.. I'll give them a call Monday..
 
Not sure mate but heat would be my guess, had quite a few hot days there, cant be heat from the light as most of the upper flowers are fine, only here and there amongst the lower growth, not overly worried :thumb: I will cut her out and replace her with C99, i actually forgot to add her into my planner so she wouldnt have got to see the tent till mid june otherwise :rofl:
 
Humidity can be a cause..
 
Humidity has been all over the place, i might have to setup my dehumidifier in there if it doesnt settle, thinking about chopping Viper and Psycho out too, only a couple of days early but close eough, move snake venom out and give the tent a good clean, hasnt had one since new :rofl:
 
Bloody hell man im stuffed :rofl: Harvested both Psycho and Viper, cut out White Jack, found some suspect areas on Snake Venom which could be turning hermy also, she hasnt started showing yet so hard to tell. I took the opportunity to use this stuff i have had sitting around for bloody ages called "La Femme", La Femme Sex Change Hormone is a Sex Change Plant Hormone. La Femme induces a predominance of female flowers. La Femme stops male flower production on hermaphrodites, and promotes females when grown from seed. Lets see if this shit actually works :) I probably should have used it on White Jack but shim was a bit too far along :rofl: Flower Tent has also had a full clean with Disinfectant, while the tent was empty i took the opportunity to clean the glass in the hood, bloody hell it was filthy :rofl: Back to a clean slate now, Snake Venom was moved back in and im just about to sort out the Res for C99 :thumb: have not stopped in the last 4 hours so having a nice sesh right now :)

Where did you hear about the glass blocking the uv's? I hope mine isnt.
my shades got a big thing of perspex on it. Is it just glass or any cover?
I might have to research,didnt even think of that.

Sounds like you deserved the sesh ;)

That last pic i put up from a previous grow was started under a 250hps so
not a true indicator of a full grow under this light,just for anyone playing at home.

Yeah she has been a good plant for me, oh well i still have her in my veg tent so not all is lost :) i will just wait till winter before i run her again or sort out what the hell is causing it lol, the La Femme im not sure about, its old stuff i picked up from an old lot of hydro gear a while back so im not even sure if its still good :rofl: worth a shot though :)

Nice one mate :) but i have heard they veg even better under these lights and should kick a 250w hps' ass :thumb: I do remember reading it somewhere about the uv, looked everywhere then thought hey, why not just look up UV :rofl:

The longer the wavelength of light, the greater its penetrating power. UVC, with the shortest ultraviolet wavelength, is readily filtered out by Earth's ozone layer and generally doesn't reach the surface. UVB has a longer wavelength, and it does penetrate the atmosphere. UVB is not able to penetrate deep into human skin, but it does cause sunburn on the skin's outer layer and is a contributing factor to skin cancer. UVB is not able to pass through glass. UVA has the greatest penetrating power, and it causes damage to the skin's deeper layers. UVA passes unimpeded through most glass.
