Fanleaf's Huge 42 Cree CXB3590 COB Array Build Plus Other Builds

If you look at the graphs the Vero decor series BXRC-27H chips have just as much 660 with a little more visible blue.

Kinda pricey at $21 CDN for a 2000-4000lm chip.

I sure wish I could find some of these bad boys somewhere. BXRC-17E4000-C-74-ND. They are 1750k but look at the beautiful flower spectrum. Peaks right at the 660nm area. I would build a small array right now with some of these at 1.5 chips per square foot.

Ha, now i know what kind of chips i will add to my rig :) i want 4 more. With my 3,5 and 4 these would be awesome for flowering.

I got tired of looking lol. So for the side closet area add-on I just picked up 2X CXB3590 in 3000k but 90CRI. I also picked up 2x 5700k 3590's as well. If you look at the Cree 90CRI map they do exceptionally well at 660nm and have a large amount of 730nm even.
In a larger grow area I would have stayed with my old stand by 3000k in 80cri and just maybe added some 730nm chips but in this small of an area I think the 90 CRI was the way to go.
This project will have all 4 chips actively cooled just to add some air circulation to the tiny area.

So my add-on project will consist of the following;
2x CXB3590 in 3000k 90CRI (Cutter $41.87 ea.)
2x CXB3590 in 5700k (Cutter $32.93ea.)
4x IceLED 550 heatsink and coolers to mount the chips on (Cutter $16.75 ea)
4x adapter plate for IceLED heatsink to CXB3590 (Cutter $4.56 ea.)
2x
HLG-120H-C1400B Drivers. (Mouser $41.69 ea)
I have the rest of everything on hand as far as 12 volt fan driver, aluminum frame material, chip holders and reflectors.

Check out the mapping on the 3000k 90CRI in the 3590 though. The red spectrum is fantastic.

@Jimmy
Are those the 140mmX80mm sinks?

120mm. I bought them then the next day I got an email from NGL " Hey man. Just letting you know I'll be getting more SST105's the first week of February. Perfect for 35w and predrilled for Vero 29. $10.00 each".
Lol
But I'm very happy with Jamie's order and so excited to run my first set of citileds.
I know they're 36v at 1080. But I can't find a good setup math for under 50w. How hot do these things get?

For the 4 1212's you can run the HLG-240H-C1400B. That would let you run from 0-50W exactly. It's 1400mA and at 1400 the 1212's run 36.4V each. That driver would be absolutely perfect.

Arrow has it for $64 but I always use promo codes there to get stuff cheaper

Component Distributors have it for $64 as well. I've bough from them several times. They have a Canada office as well.

Sweet. Looks like I can run 3 1212 and 2 BxRC on the same circuit. Gonna run some tests. Be back in an hour with results.

If you're wanting to run even more than those 5 on the same circuit you can just with a different driver.
