Exotic Genetix Trap Star Grow Journal By TwoX

Update... We are getting close to flowering so I thought I would go over each individual one. 6 through 10 are not ready so we will go over those at a later time.
TrapStar#5..
I really like this one so far.. She's the tallest of the group and has not showed sex yet. Her side branching is growing straight up instead of out so she might produce a nice canopy. She might end up really tall too.

TrapStar#4..
She's a nice plant too but the side branching isn't really catching up. 4 nice tops on her though and no signs of sex.

TrapStar#1..
Similar to 4 but she might be starting to show sex.. to early to tell since I have no idea how her calyxs are shaped but it looks a little round..

TrapStar#2.. My weirdo
This one started showing sex right after I topped it.. It didn't continue to show sex anywhere else on the plant until now.. I think this one might be a dude.

I may be right or I might be wrong. My ability to sex plants has not developed yet and I've focused a lot on Fems... All these will hit flowering and I'll expeirence their development first hand and compare my observations.

They look good Twox! I think you may be right about 2 and 3. I don't sex plants often but while trying to determine the sex of my huckleberry kush I looked at a lot of pics and read a decent amount and one thing I saw come up multiple times was that male preflowers will be raised where as female parts don't have a stem under them. The preflowers on 2 definitely have stems from the looks of the pictures. Do 2 and 3 have a more pronounced scent?

2 smells just like the others but # 3 has a extra stank on the fan stems.. like a skunky tomatoe plant... Hard to describe but most my other strains smell similar to apricots or straight tomatoes plants... I have a funny felling these ladies are going to smell super funky smelling In flower.. Both 2 and 3 showed sex weeks ago and that leaves me to believe that the other 3 might be female...

The male Huck Kush I had was the smelliest plant I have ever had in veg, he was danker smelling than some of what I had halfway through flower :thedoubletake:

Looks like a female to me Twox, make certain before you decide.
All 5 are going into flower to prove themselves.. My favorite male will be kept and flowered for some f2 action at a later date... I really getting excited at what will come from these Trapppers. I can't wait to pick a favorite...:high-five:

Looking good twox! If I had any suggestions for you on the sex of your little ones it would be to wait. Which sounds like that was your plan for this project from the start.

Here's a quick update of where I am at.

This lovely lady is my TS1 pheno at day 23. Cant really determine which side she leans towards yet so I am calling it a 50/50 pheno.

Yeah, she has a 50/50 cherry to gasy kush smell to her. Sometimes I can catch a stronger cherry sent and other times its that gas/kush sent.

FFSF is so far a decent medium in my book. Since its designed around flowering I believe it runs a little light and would be good for those that transplant right before flowering and/or uses their own custom feeding schedule. I had transplanted into this soil from solo cups and vegged out a few weeks prior to flipping. So far I am not disappointed nor have I been overly impressed with it. "Decent" medium to make some custom mixes with.

TrapStar update:
How the fun begins.. TS 1 through 5 have just hit flower and 6 through 10 just got transplanted to their final pots. Not much action in flowering yet but I replaced my bulb and they are loving the bright new light. I hope I can sex some of these in flower and have some room for the other 5.. or 4 because I'm sure I finally found a male.

They sure do like all that space..

Some random shots of some of the tops. They look happy:high-five:

Ts6.. My runt. Looks male to me. Since he was a runt I'm not sure if I should keep him or toss him. He grows really slow.

More updates soon and once things very moving I'll update more frequently.. Go Trappers go

T6 is a male.. can leave him in the room for a few more daze then chop it. Nothing bad will happen.

The rest of em... I'm with Floyd, wait. They eventually will show sex. I just went thru this with a Labyrinth and picked 4 males to go into flower before the 4 females that I have now in flower. All good the males in the room get the ladies happy. Happy plants happy fire, just sayin.

Once they show sex the party starts... they grow FAST, like exponentially fast. Seems the Cube relatives like to hang out in flower early on... stretch a little, show sex then blast off to the lights.

Here's one my Labyrinth .. 10 days after flowers showed, she's 60" tall getting close to the lamps. Flowers were blooming and she was still stretching, not sure she's done stretching yet either.

TS1-Day 1 week 5 Flower update. I am excited to see the phenos you have develop TWOX! This pheno took off early with the resin/trich production and hasnt slowed down a bit! More often that cherry smell now so she seems to lean towards the cube/star fighter I think. Looks and smell.
