Escape Velocities: Syenite's Stealth Miniatures

It's purely out of ignorance that I thought unless I saw a bunch, I didn't need to worry
It only takes two horny gnats to get an infestation going...

As Shed said, I use the dunks all year round, even though I haven't even seen a gnat for close to a year...
I bought one of the big 20 dunk packs on the zon, and I just add half a dunk to my water bucket every 3 weeks or so...literally, a quarter ounce of prevention...

You're my go-to for mosquito dunks, and you always show up when I call. :thanks: carcass!

It works best when left to sit in the water for a while, like Amy and @Carcass do. Since it's a bacteria, leaving it in the water gives them time to multiply and really fill the jug. Carcass keeps a bucket of water around with the dunks in them that he uses for his nute water every time. He's already said gno to gnats!

Thanks you two, that makes a lot of sense to let it sit for an extended duration. :thumb:

Dadadada GNATMAN :tommy:! :thanks:

Looking good Sye :)

Thanks Tra :snowboating:

What, you didn't like my trick?

Hi Sye!
Nice job sucking up to the plant. Great bonding! Not sure what to make of the leaves. If it gets any worse we can dig into it a bit. It's possible it has to do with the light, maybe bleaching them a bit.

:rofl::high-five:

Thanks Mr S! I am treating the gnat issue and yellowing issue as separate until proven otherwise. I think you may well be right about the light, especially given the light position relative to the yellowing centre of the plant. I got out my lux meter and was shocked to see some of the numbers in that centre portion. Maybe slight bleaching due to light intensity and/or inputs being out of sync with each other (too much light, not enough N to keep up).

I've turned that panel down now. :thumb::thanks:

Loom, HSC Bigfoot Glue (GG#4 x Humboldt Headband), day 67

Just a little update, apropos of the chlorosis saga --

Things are looking much better already, having upped the base nutes and turned the lights down a bit. All the new growth is a healthy green. Thank you everyone who chimed in on this issue. On the gnat front, I've nabbed one on the sticky trap, and otherwise have not seen any others. So I'm optimistic that I'll be on top of that soon. I'm glad it seems that that hasn't gotten out of hand.

Loom's also had a haircut in anticipation of flip. I don't know if you can quite make out the training from these pics, but once I flip her the candelabra shape should come through again.

We've got eight tops on this one, two fewer than Desert's ten. There are 4 tops in the centre, and 2 out either wing. I'm really pleased with the calls I made around the training. It was quite a weird game, and a unique challenge, to try and line them all up like this!

I hear this variety can stretch a bit, so I'll be taking no risks with the vertical space.

Hope everyone's well! I can't believe it's only a few days from Christmas. I've definitely been on the mag a bit less, not because of a lack of time but a lack of energy. In saying that, life is good, and I'm hopeful for 2021.

One thing I have managed, in the past few days, was to locate a good OG Kush seed line. More on that soon!

:thanks: :high-five: :yummy::ganjamon:

Hello sy, your plants look so greeen!
I know what you mean....I can hardly keep up with my journal much less look around the site. haha! I hope you've had a good weekend. Smile and stay stoneder

End-of-working-year-double-flower-power update

Today was my last day at work, and couldn't have come a day sooner!

Wish, HSO Blue Dream auto, day 54

Pretty little scruffy thing! Unrecognisable from a couple of weeks ago. Remarkable pace with these autos.

Still chasing down the sweet spot with the base nute feed, and have upped the PPM successively in the last few feeds. Yellowing seems to have slowed for now. I'm sure the plant will make it to the finish just fine, but I'd rather it do so in comfort!

Beautiful, recursive/fractal flowers - I imagine these are the most annoying to trim?

Grub, Pre '98 Bubba Kush, day 35 of 12-12

This one is charismatic in a different way. Grub seems somewhat stately.

Like bring out the nice silver for dinner, hun, our posho friend is coming over!

No problems with it whatsoever. In contrast to Wish, its leaves are a deep, dark green throughout.

This pheno's morphology fits the typical OG/Bubba Kush description: relatively large internode spacing with tight flowers.

These two will be going down around the middle of January. I hope summer throws a lot of warm and dry weather my way.

Phew, I get a little breather now that we've reached Christmas. Cheers for stopping by, Fred! :thanks:

Oh yeah, a little Workmans Dead! Uncles Johns Band baby!

Nice to see you Stone! @DonkeyDick helped me compile a little playlist and I'll add that record to it! :tommy:

Loom's training is really tight, nicely done!
And Grub is really photogenic...nice pics!

Thank you Shed! I'm really excited to flip Loom. I think I'll get a better result this run, at least structurally speaking!

Wish definitely looks annoying to trim, but since it's a rather small plant it shouldn't wear you out too badly.

Hahaha imagine if I complained about having to trim that tiny thing! Y'all would spit on me

Congrats on the end of the work year...whatever that means.

Thank you! I don't know what it means either. I just hope it means something.:high-five:

Meri Kirihimete dear friends! I’m viciously stupored from family lunch at the MIL’s. The children are running laps around the garden in anticipation of the presents. No one has passed out yet! It’s about time for another capsule... :laughtwo::yummy::green_heart:

Here's wishing you and yours a Great Christmas, Sye!
