i would also add lighting back in on the sides, similar to the last pic. 360 lighting is one of the things that make space buckets so productive. you are already real close with that set up.

I have mine born into 22k Lux. I think most charts say 6-10k but 22k has been my sweet spot. I increase them in regular intervals and they are around 70k or more when in full flower. Also ask @Sunnyskies, he gets them in that full light really early and has good success with autos.Question that came to mind while I was thinking about autos again --
I was a bit too hesitant with light intensity early on with my Blue Dream auto, and I believe that cost me dearly in size.
Auto growers - how quickly do you bring on full intensity veg lighting for your young autos?
Umm off the top of my head @Carcass @13goody13 @InTheShed @Bionic Chronic NZ @VetSmoke85 ??

I've only recently started measuring lux. Before I used the trusted 'techies eye' to gauge where to start and then tweak it up until either the temps went too high or the plants shouted at me.
It's a bit like growing under duress with autos. Especially in a small space. I think it's fun. Those first few weeks are where you make or break it.
Hey in for the grow. Autos can be a bit finicky. I tried 2,5,7, and 10 gallon pots. I think 5 being ok but 7 best. The books and cardboard risers in flower can be a problem. Find something else. Milk crates etc.. The books and cardboard retain rh in the space. And you want to run low relative humidity and lots of air flow to keep powdery mildew or bud rot from happening later in flower. I love micro grows. Think since you painted the actual box should be fine. Be keeping an eye out for you.
You’re giving the gnats their diatomaceous earth therapy?
I think that canna terra pro comes pre loaded with them.
FollowingHello everyone!
Earlier this year I started growing for the first time.
I live in a tiny, tiny house.
I live in a prohibition country.
I also live below my landlords. I don't want them to know about any of this.
In 2020, I'm living for this.
The boxes
I have two micro spaces for the plants, each giving me little more than 30 cubic cm (or 1 cubic foot) between the top of the soil and the top of the box.
One has the usual top-down lighting. It's also a cardboard box.
The other has primary front-/side-lighting. It's not a cardboard box, but a small cabinet.
The plants
Here's our relatively mature Grub, a Pre-98 Bubba Kush, day 73 above ground.
And our young upstart, Loom, a Humboldt Bigfoot Glue (GG#4 x Humboldt Headband), day 18 above ground.
Loom's inherited Desert's ( ) old digs.
Some yellow-brown speckling on the first serrated leaves, residual from when I saturated the pot a bit too early on.
She struggled through that and is over the hump now!
The other things
Mix: Canna Terra Pro
Dry amendments: More perlite, diatomaceous earth, mycorrhizae
Base/macro nutes: BioCanna Vega and Flora
Micro nutes: Dynagro Protekt (Silica), Flairform CMX (CalMagFe)
Rooting supplement: Canna Rhizotonic (auxins + B vitamins)
Flowering supplement: BioCanna Bio Boost (some kind of PK booster)
Welcome!!
She's looking great. Has she stopped growing vertically yet?
