It's all good, do what you were going to do originally don't switch it up if that one is better genetics than the other. You want to cross the best genetics possible. That's why you see like Shiva skunk #5 <----- out of 5 phenos, this one was the best. Does that make sense mang?

Makes perfect sense. I chose them two plants for breedjng because of their appeal, but obviously that's just visual. These particular phenotypes could be crap yielders lol

I'll take your advice, since you know what you're doing; I'll press the mistakenly topped bird into the breeding and then just top Josie and put her into the test group with the rest. One cola or two isn't gonna make much difference in the end.

Who knows man, you should pollinate both just in case. Pheno 1 and Pheno 2. Then you run both and see which is better smoke. That would be better. My Blue Dream isn't tall at all. It barely stretched up... It was more outwards.

I need to keep one blue dream for smoking. there are only three you see lol and i don't want to get into all that pollinating part of the plant business cos then ive a choice between risking cross polination (keeping it in the white room) or risking shit buds (putting it in the blue room) lol goodnight, and thanks :)

Also, i just tasted a bit of the old weed from my last grow (a friend has some left)...
i can see why she hasn't finished it. it has not aged well at all. it's harsh as buggery now.

Thats a shame did she not keep it in a glass jar? Usually bring the smoke on no end a long cure in a jar

Nah, there were failures at every level. no proper flush, dried too quickly etc. It's in a jar but it's too late now. it's all brittle and that lol

So, I'll do pics tomorrow with the feeding.
Going to take a chance and put 2mls of A and 2mls of B into each litre of water and see how i get on.
(it's double what i gave last time, which seemed to have no ill effects)

I want to get this grow finished up so i can get the next one started. the breeding has gimped me somewhat this time around. next time I'll have a full compliment of 12 to grow for just smoke. 6 of each strain and no filler.

Sp sphnx...... you seem to be the guy in the no when it comes to overdosing for killer results... as a rough guide. If youv got a nutrient hogging indica dominent strain how far over the recomended guide dose would you push it during flower? Start at 1/2 strenth upto full then double if no ill effects? How far past double have you gone? I read you saying its about giving the high doses at the correct stages? Iv grown a while now but iv not gone past the recomended full dose before.... could you provide a bit of info about the stages you mentioned? Im on day one of flower now il be using biobizz 3 part nutrient range with some sort of bud booster when the time is right.. sorry for the Q's im just interested :)

If you're in soil, don't push it. My results are purely the coco doing its job. Not holding on to as much as possible and excellent drainage.

If you do coco, you have get figure out an entire feedings line. Every stage.
