I feed the day the seedling opens. When the seeds are germinating in the paper towels they are soaking in b1 thrive, roots excelerator, and low doses of A and B. The tap root grows out roughly 4-5 inches before the seed shell comes off

Personally I have these trays that all my plants sit in (each tray holds 3 plant pots) so when i water i lift off the pots, throw a couple of folded towels onto the tray, place the plants down and water. When the towel is saturated it goes into the wash basket. The rest of the run off after that is negligible but i still like to wipe it up. In my time I've stayed at many hotels, so I have many towels lol

Sp sphnx...... you seem to be the guy in the no when it comes to overdosing for killer results... as a rough guide. If youv got a nutrient hogging indica dominent strain how far over the recomended guide dose would you push it during flower? Start at 1/2 strenth upto full then double if no ill effects? How far past double have you gone? I read you saying its about giving the high doses at the correct stages? Iv grown a while now but iv not gone past the recomended full dose before.... could you provide a bit of info about the stages you mentioned? Im on day one of flower now il be using biobizz 3 part nutrient range with some sort of bud booster when the time is right.. sorry for the Q's im just interested

It's basically overclocking, but with plants lol

I just drain the water down onto the pond liner on the floor and the dehumidifier sucks all the water up, then the water goes back into the reservoir. It's cool. So the nutes are wasted yes... but the water is recycled.

I need to get something like a pond liner, for the drips, as all my electrical stuff is underneath the 'floor'. One wrong move and it's 'fizz... pop... darkness' lol

Some pictures... not the best shots but my head is banging like a drum. it's migraine time once again.

I am waiting for the girls to recover from the topping/super cropping thing and then am just banging them straight into flower - I've heard that if you put them into flower too soon after such modifications then it can delay flowering.

Name That Plant!??

So, during the watering i found this in Josie's pot.

I've no clue what it is or how it got there; alls i can say is it grew fast and it's not any strain of cannabis i've ever seen.
The only thing i can think of is dandelions... I've seen a lot of dandelion fluff balls floating about but none since... the council cut the grassy verge by my house a few weeks ago... I'll bet that's what it was... they kicked up a bunch of those floating seeds. one must have found it's way into the grow room. boy they grow fast. wish i could cross those with cannabis, we'd have plants that finished from seed in a month lol

edit: googled it and it's not a dandelion seedling. so I'm fully stumped lol


Also; how long after flipping to 12/12 should i start flowering related nutes?

Iv had stuff like that in cheap soil mixes an thought must of been a stray seed mixed in along the way.

I'd expect that from soil but I'm growing in coir that spent a long long time dry as a bone and solid as a rock lol it must have blown in from outside or carried in on my clothes. either way, it's a warning, i have to be more careful with my grow room.

I boil washed the coir. Damn things lol oh well, it's out now. if any of it's root mass is still in there i imagine it'll regerm somehow, those things always do lol

i would start feeding bloom nutes the day you flip to 12/12 as florigen (hormone responsible for triggering the plant to flower) starts building in the plant when it has 12 continuous hours of darkness
