DWC - Drip Irrigation Scrog 2400W

so plants grow in it from start to finish or is it a cloner whizz

I think it grows start to finish. depending on how deep the res is. Other then that they have stackables. This maybe the start of it and then as they grow theres other sites you connect to it. If you were to build one your self and make the res deep enough. Im pretty sure you can grow start to finish. I guess its suppose to save you more room to work with with.

i think if you were going to go that route i'd just grow one or two individual dwc buckets. because of the spacing of pots in that system u'd only grow small plants and one pot in a 21litre pot (5gal) u'd get better yield. as long as u have good air stone that puts out small bubbles and a strong enough pump aeration not an issue as the water absorbs the oxygen. Ive never grown using a system like that so to be fair my answer is my opiniom only but it wouldnt be me. prob be sound for cuttings but then id just use a regular aerocloner with couple air stones.

I already have some set up. I have 16 rooting in the bubble cloner and 18 waiting to root threw rockwool. Ill be doing hydro and soil. Im looking to get a bigger space so Ill be able to set this whole next grow up with no problem. I think ill get 2x 600w lamps to flower under. I think each lamp will cover a 6x6 or 8x8 area. Ill have hydro under one and soil under the other one.

in 12x12 id run 4 600w hps min, maybe even 6. when i use tents i go with 1.2x2.4x2metres (4x8x6.5foot) and use either 2 600w or 2 1000w, just depends where i am doing the grow and what equipment i am not using as i rarely buy new lights now because i have enough to fill a large unit. Off 2 600w hps i am averaging 55oz dry. In a tent that size i will have 10 21litre dwc pots, 5 per side as in this journal. Or i will have 18-20 6.5 litre square pots with coco/perlite mix so 9-10 per side. U could put more plants in if u do them as hempys, then i'd put 120-140 in but its a ball ache knocking them over and manually feed every day for me. remember its not about the number of plants, its how u grow them under that footprint that matters. 4 well trained plants may well yield more than 10 plants squashed in.

Hey C, I have a quick question for you.have you ever had your ph start dropping 5-10 points in a 12 hour period? it seems to start happening everytime I flip to flower with this system.im running 10 buckets with a 40 gallon res.right now the girls are drinking 5 gallons a day,im sure some of this is due to evaporation.do you think its the nutes concentrating?last round I had to adjust the res daily and I dont like it, any suggestions?

yes mate its down to which nutes u use. im havin the same issues with my dutch pro at the min. its a good base nute but im starting to think its better for coco than it is dwc. i run canna aqua flores in flower and canna aqua vega in my other grows for the most part and ph is much more stable. been trying to dial in the dutch pro for about 9 months with smaller hydro grows but im not getting the same lushness that it was giving in coco. ive actually just done a full res change which i dont normally do midweek but plants just dont seem as healthy as they should be at this point. dont get me wrong, they arent unhealthy, they just arent at the quality i like. ive just switched to what im running pretty much in rest of my dwc which is:

30ml per 10litres canna aqua flores A+B
25ml " " cannazyme
10ml " " dutchpro explode
1.5ml " " ph- bloom

the canna doesnt need readjusted after initial ph setting, i set mine at 5.7-5.8 in flower

hmmm..im using genereal hydroponics 3 part flora with sensizym and cal/mag,once they get past the transition I add bud candy and kushie kush and then overdrive and final phase.its a 40 gallon res and im replacing 5 gallons a day right now I think that is why the ph is dropping, the nutes are concentrating,I used to use a dutch nutrient that I never had problems with.Ive been thinking about trying BPN been hearing good things about them.

yes it could be nutes concentrating also mate. Alot of the dutch nutrients are great and alot cheaper than some of the big names like AN. 5 gallons? thats around 20litres right? how many pots u got again? i replace roughly that on my 200litre res so thats prob about right but thats feeding 24 plants.
