Sadly they are looking neglected.

So the girls are running out of N, or its too cold and wet for them to uptake.

I need to feed them, just been busy. I even baked them at 43C (over 100f in old scale) today as I forgot to open up the greenhouse in the morning.

The slugs love these, everyday they leave another tell tale trail.

I really wish I had them under lights, definitely growth being left on the table.

Otherwise though they are evenish and in flower doing their thing.

Girls got first bloom feed today.

Ill be honest, I have no idea what 1 teaspoon per foot actually converts to.

Its like saying if you have a fish, and I have a table, what time does the sun rise?

@Trala I'm sending you a help signal. Like a giant T in the sky.

Omg you fucking mong! It’s one tablespoon per foot for a start!

Get a tablespoon measuring spoon. I have a half and just double it when needed. If your lady cooks, she will defs have a set in her drawers. If not pick up a set.

And it’s so not. It’s so basic even I understand it.

Omg if it turns out to be one teaspoon per foot I’ll fucking DIEEEEE!

LOLLLLLLLINGGGG

Actually as it turns out.....not quite true

I joke. A lot. Love giving your chain a yank. But its defs teaspoon. Abbreviated as tsp in the feed chart.

My old Home Eco teacher, Mrs W, would have the ruler out if I didnt learn measuring. To be fair I never witnessed her strike a child with it, but she 100% had it in her, a steel one, about 50cm long.

What that in imperial, like 27 feet?

Mostly she pointed with it. When she retired I was shocked to learn Home Eco teachers didnt actually need a long steel ruler.

She was like the opposite of our woodworking teacher.

Good news is yours haven't died and mine are hungry....so fuck the instructions.

Edit:

You were right. But I blame the downloadable chart.

Honestly they made a typo.

Oh thank God!

THANK GOD!

I nearly dropped dead with fright! Dropped fucking dead i tells ya! Like couldn’t swallow!

Me: I read it!
My brain: Did you tho?
Me: I did! The print was super small! I put on my lash glue glasses to see it!
My brain: Did you tho?
Me: I did! I made myself read it 3 times!
My brain: Yeah but did you tho?
Me: OMG I DON’T KNOW ANYMOREEEEEEEE!

Thanks for the catch @Trala , you're a good growmie.

For everyone else, Tra sent me a pic of the instructions on the label, but I did sense her going through exactly what she wrote.

The weather here has been terrible. Just one nore step in the wrong direction, I suppose.

After tomorrow the weather is a big uptick, and Im hoping the girls will get their groove on after being stuck in what seems like suspended animation for days.

Theyve arrived at roughly the half way point, 40/70 (GZ), and 40/77 (CK), but so far theres not a lot to get excited about.

My photo girls who have been babied look much, like overwhelmingly, much better.

In saying that I never really thought autos would be something I would consider growing as anything more than testers. They take nearly as long, little control on veg, and dont yield a bunch.

But these two are a step in the right direction, and have actually changed my mind, at least to the point Id like to try a couple in a proper controlled environment.

And theyd fit in with my photo plans no trouble.

So lessons this week.

Feed properly.
Autos are pretty hardy.
Mother nature is still the boss.

Omg.

Found metric instructions today for the BCC.

Any how the auto girls are reaching mid flower. They certainly looked like it today. I always, like always, count my girls out of the race at the beginning. It wont break any records, but they are coming to the party today.

They really got that well spread sativa look after seemingly starting out more Indica.

Some pics are better than none.

Fingers crossed I have my shit sorted by weeks end.

And god help me if @Trala isnt happy, I scrubbed that fucker from top to bottom with isopropyl alcohol, vaccummed, and wiped the pot down, and tried to take a half decent pic.
But you didn't smooth out the walls and floor. Hopefully she'll give you a pass. 🤞

Question.

With photo girls I know the last couple weeks makes a big difference in bulk and density of the buds.

Curious if Autos are similar?

The reason I ask is they seem to have a tonne of white pistils, but the breeder sheet states theres only 2 weeks give or take to go. Looks like heaps of time left to go, barely got any trichomes kicking in, so do Autos typically finish faster than photos? Maybe go hard late?

Look like theres easy a month left, basing it off next to zero experience though. I feel like Im being that person, but today I guess Ill have to be....(when will my flowers finish, how much yeild will I get lol).

Anyone able to advise?

Not that I ever really trust the guides. Fuck theyve even said 90/10 split on CKush, seems pretty heavy toward the sativa side to me. Defs not a little.

I think the standard advice on this site is "10 more days." :laughtwo:

I don't grow autos but I would imagine the same finishing rules apply, wait for the pistils to turn dark and crinkle in, then start watching trichomes for your preferred doneness (clear = too early, cloudy/milky = more of an 'up' high, more amber = more couchlock). Essentially once you get to cloudy it's grower's choice.

I find the breeder estimates to be more marketing tools than accurate guages of timelines. Plus, your environment is likely different from what they grew in.
