Update
What’s goin on everyone! Happy Friday and I hope your all ready for the weekend ahead. I’ve got a review from the growbox and the cloner today and a big review from the 4x4 tomorrow with tons of pictures!

So to start things off today these IHG ladies have been doing great. All healthy and good strong growth it was time for another training and defoliation session today!
I started by removing some blocking fan leaves and lower bottom nodes. Massaged all my branches where I wanted to bend and slowly worked them into the new position under the ties.

Unfortunately a couple of days ago I wasn’t so delicate and broke a main branch on Twisted Helix. I taped and supported her so fingers crossed she can recoup and get going again. If not it will be my first triline!

But ads successful training session these ladies will be rebounding and filling out in no time! As you can see below I could fit all 8 back into the growbox so one Platinum Punch is hanging out in the mother tent for a bit until I do some moving around. I’ve got something special coming soon but that’s for another time!

Then moving over to the 3x3 where I have the bubble cloner going. Today is only Day-6 in the cloner and GG#4-1 already has the start of some incredible rooting thats about to explode!

Excited to see them and how they are doing in the next few days.
Otherwise I’ve got another long morning of defoliation work tomorrow in the 4x4 to get these ladies ready for the rest of their journey! I can say this though there is some serious frost already which I’m excited to share with you tomorrow.

Pheno Hunt Group 3
Day - 93 / Flower Day - 22

What’s going on everyone! Another busy morning here in the garden with another defoliation in the 4x4 and watering the mothers and IHG girls. I’ve got a ton of pictures to share to I’ll just let you enjoy!

A few before pictures of course:

Then after 2.5hrs of very sticky and yummy smelling defoliation the job was done! Removed some monster fan leaves and a ton of lower-middle blocking leaves as well. I’m really happy with how this round is looking so far and there’s some great frost happening all over the tent already! Can’t wait to watch these ladies fill out over the next few weeks and push out those trichomes! I’ll let you enjoy some photos now.

Then a quick visit to the growbox to see how the IHG girls rebounded from yesterday!

I’ll get some pictures from the cloner tomorrow as well as some close up bud photos from the flowering girls!

I hope your enjoying the weekend and Stay Medicated!

Beautiful Dutch. :thumb: Now to see them stacking on the buds and filling out those colas. I hope to have a grow like that someday. You are an inspiration and this journal will be a Great resource to go back and reefer to …. Thanks You

Now it's time to watch them stack up.
I’m looking forward to seeing that!

Thanks PC and I’m sure you will have a grow like this in no time! I appreciate your kind words and I’m glad to be helping and inspiring

nice work :thumb:
Cheers Dyna!

When you defoliated Dutch, what did you do with your watering system. Did you take them off for each plant and pull them individually out of the tent?

Ha! I wish! They all remained in place just like for the first round last weekend. The trellis net that’s in place wouldn’t allow me to move them in and out anymore! Just took a lot of stretching and patience to get it done!

Beautiful work Dutch!
Thank you kindly Otter!

Highya Dutchie,

Beautiful presentation with all the before and after pics. The camera angles also add a new perspective to gauge the tallness of the big girls. I wanted to mention how nice the 9 ladies in the tent look. Very impressive mass of colas just working hard to fill out!
I also wanted to mention that @Hyena Merica has a journal where he does hydroponics. He does a scrog with them like yourself, only he's in a 10' X 10' tent. Very impressive. Anyways, your grow reminds me of his grow. I don't do hydroponics either, but he has a great journal. Cheers

How are you liking your floraflex trays, Dutch?

I don't recall seeing you curse on and on about them, and other than a remark about maybe needing a larger pump, it seems to be going well?

Hey Multi, I’m loving the flora matrix collars! They have made watering an absolute breeze and I would recommend them for sure! Even watering to all my pots has never been easier!
I did end up increasing my pump size from a 400GPH to an 800GPH and have been getting great flow rates after that! I will be maintaining this setup for a long time and I’m thinking of introducing the same setup to my mother tent to get as automated as possible!

Hey Veinz! Welcome aboard my friend! Any questions just ask away

Excellent.

I've been looking at them, but haven't pulled the trigger yet. I only need 4, maybe 2 backups, so only finding them in a 12 pack is a bit off putting to me. It's still on the list of possibilities though. Probably better than the 9" drip ring things, so there's that.

Are you using the circle material that goes underneath, or skipping that?

I'm remembering now, with plants bushing out and about ready to stretch, that watering at that point can be a pain. No wonder I have "automate pot watering" on my todo list for the Lab tent.

Not sure when the next time I'll run promix or coco in the lab, so not in an immediate hurry. If I really, really, really wanted to do so, I do have most of the stuff to put micro drippers in place. Got the pump, res, drippers, etc. Only thing I'd need would be the tubing, but thinking about that I may even have some of that from setting up micro sprinklers in the landscaping if I dig around enough.
