Dutchman’s 1st Grow Ever: 2018

It does, thanks Dutch! There's a bit of the haze from the lighting but the calyxes look like they're mostly cloudy with some clears. If that's what you're seeing IRL then you just decide if you want any amber in there. If not, then you could probably take it down any day now. If you want to thread the needle you would wait for a few ambers before you chop. Either way I'd say you're golden. Great work!

Woohoo I knew they were getting close!! I’m actually surprised WW2 is actually a little closer to finish than I thought she was they may be a day or 2 apart !

I think I’ll give WW1 until Friday and chop her then her sister Saturday or Sunday! Exciting times here!

Oh nice... tell me more about the friends setup?? I want me some of that!!

Ok so he has a 6-ton hydraulic jack with electronic heat plates on a digital thermostat.

He places (x) amount of product between parchment paper or press screens and then squeezes said product.

What you are left with is pure terpene and rosin extraction. Absolutely amazing flavour and 75-90% THC just amazing. Better the strain the more of a return you will get. I squeeze 7g at a time and I get about 2 grams back! Which is a pretty good return off of bud !

October 11 - Day 74

Checked on the widows today again. Few more cloudy but no new ambers some are slightly starting to change so I think tomorrow will be harvest day for WW2 and then the big girl WW1 will be saturday !

The smells that are floating around the room are absolutely amazing! Heavy ammonia’s with light pines lovely! Really looking forward to my first harvest!! That’s going to be a BIG notch on the belt and a great success in my start of this growing career !

I thank everyone for being here with me and helping along to way! Amazing support great experience and efforts! Looking forward to many years to come with all of you !

Holy Smokes!!! It’s like the Ganja Gods have spoken and sent me Xmas early!! It keeps getting better today !!
!

I have been a busy beaver today with starting my first harvest ! WW2 is going to be harvested and I’m currently in the process of preparing myself for the trim!

BUT while I was sitting here having a smoke break I heard the door bell ring...
and needless to say ....

The ganja gods first sign came to me

My 4x4 net (x2) for setting up my Early Miss scrog! Hurricane fan for some more air flow! Who doesn’t need more airflow right!? Haha

So I go back and sit down to continue and then again my doorbell rings.... well this time I didn’t know who it could be but...... a smiling face from the delivery man brings me this sweeeeeeeet package!

Sooo needless to say I was SUPER EXCITED!! All on the same day my WW2 is coming down!

Wow I couldn’t ask for a better welcoming to my first harvest!

The Harvest has begun!

October 12 - Day 75

Helloooo and Great evening to everyone! Man am I having a great night or what!

Got all those great packages in the mail this evening and just finished my first harvest!

White Widow 2 is now the first girl to be harvested of the 4 plants in my tent.

White Widow 1 will be harvested tomorrow and she’s much bigger so I’m expecting a pretty big yield off her and wow is she ever frosty !!

But I was having a smoke after finishing trimming and washing and I thought what better way to enjoy the harvest then to share it and celebrate it with my friends here! It took me about 2.5hrs to cut trim and wash WW2 and she turned out lovely!

Before wash I got her weighed in at 235g! Not to bad for my first small girl! Her big sister will definitely trump that though!

My first “BudWash” was a success ! Took the advice from everyone here obviously and they are now hanging to dry for a few hours before going into the dry rack inside the drybox !

So without further hesitation let’s get to some photos!

The Early Miss are going to be absolute monsters once they finish.... they are going to be a handful even under the nets I’ve got ready to put in after harvesting WW1 today! Going to have some nice tent photos of her spread once I get her pulled down a bit with the net!

Haha thanks Sam ! This bug has definitely given me the sickness ! But I’m growing the cure ! Excited to drop some seeds and see where the next grow takes me !
