O.k. Do I need to take the next set of fans?
Hey DK,
looking good buddy! In my opinion, you shouldn't touch it. You've done a great job and now you're second guessing yourself. The canopy is even, the leaves are a deep dark green and your budding nodes are all coming along really nicely...each bud site has been isolated through defoil and it looks to me like all has went at least as good as you hoped for. In real life I am a plant ecologist and I do not see any reason why a long petiole would be looked at negatively, if it wasn't advantageous for the plant to grow a 1" petiole it would not grow one that long...a plant of any kind, by its very nature, will do anything and everything it can to succeed at the highest possible level that it's genetics will allow. They do it all on their own. While there are techniques that horticulturists can utilize to increase the effects of these measures, make no mistake - the PLANT is doing the work. Often I see folks treating their gardens (cannabis and otherwise) like an old cripple that can't go to the bathroom on its own.
All I'm trying to say is that you're doing a great job. A master grower becomes one not by how many steps he takes but by how many steps he can eliminate.
