Dusty's Winter Grow

Thanks Dusty. I'd like to get my 2nd grow started as soon as the current one is harvested but it will probably be better to take a little time and get my grow room in better order and set up to run veg & flower. If I like this Haze I'm going to clone it next time so that will mean a separate space. I didn't know you used for spiritual reasons....or that there were separate laws for that? Interesting. I could see that working for me... definitely can help get on a higher plane of thinking!
:Namaste:

It something I have been observing for about a year now.
(in my studies) lol I have noticed every female ( femseed or reg seed) has had at least one node w/ a even nuber of leaflets and every male has had not displayed this trait at all. Could just be my garden idk.
Good observation Dusty.
As far as all your recent updates I just caught up on... McD's

There's some truly impressive work being done with them. In the end its just a tool. If you know how to use the tool...well lets just say a great light doesn't make a great grower.
Well said CC
so with that flux how many more time will you defoliate before you let it do its own thing?
And if you're interested in Fluxxing Light Addict has a journal he's donated to our community strictly to teach and help anyone who post there with anything concerning fluxxing...

Morning buds,
The blue mystic will continue to veg for a month or maybe two.
Hey Reg happy new year, was it bananas in the big apple.
Strictly banana floats Dusty! I went into over-drive this year. I do believe I haven't put it down like that since my early 20's, back in my clubbing days. This old body can't handle it like it use to though, 4 days of non-stop partying. I'm still paying the price. I remember when I was a beast. Use to leave work on Fridays, get it in all weekend without sleep leaving someone's daughter's apt. Monday morning heading to work.

Hey Buds, good highs to all. Quick update;
Blue cheese has poped tap root been placed in r.w.cube and already transplanted into ffof, and is growing fast as I have seen anything grow.
No pics as I have been crazy swamped at work.
I am acctually building a nice sized grow room right now. Its fifty feet by thirty feet 1500 sqft of growing room ( wish it was mine.) Kinda wierd leaving my little closet and working on somthing I dream about being able to do oh well.

Happy growing .

Hey DK....i noticed you r question on Welshy's journal about PHing.......a lot of organic growers do not ph due to the living soil....ie the microbs buffer the ph......i learned this the hard way with my first pineapple chunk....at least i believe that was the prob......but i stopped ph my organic nutes.......and after mixed they were in the 3s as well.......ph would go down to low 5s in the soil after feed, but the next day it would be back to 7:).....seems like we may have talked about this before:)hmm....if so just forget that i rewrote this:)lol

Morning Dusty!

I can't wait for the blue cheese flower pics. I've got one of those too. I heard she's a real stinker lol.

1500 feet for veggies sound absolutely amazing. Is this a job or just helping a friend. I'd love to build grow rooms for a living.

GD is correct, when growing in organic living soil, no ph correction or bottled nutrients are used. We sparingly top dress with compost or worm castings, and some of us use poop lol (I apply sea bird guano at weeks 3 and 5 of flower). We then inoculate our soil with an AACT tea every other week. But for the most part we just use dechlorinated tap water. A lot of people do a living or organic mulch as well. I never have but may try soon.

Happy Thursday! :high-five:

Interesting Dirty. This is something I'll have to experiment with. I use tap & ours runs at about 7.2 I've been adjusting it to 6.5 since forever but after reading this and reviewing the chart below again maybe it will be better not to PH adjust our tap. Check what elements get absorb at what levels in soil.
