Dusty's Winter Grow

Dusty, what are the little stones in your plants that look like tiny potatoes? I see them everywhere. I know this is a "weed growing 101" question, but I've never seen written anywhere what these tiny stones are?? I think it'd be nice to pour water on my girls without washing away half the soil! :) :Namaste:

I'm going to have to find some of those pebbles..... I think they would make watering much less messy.

Those are expanded clay pebbles, very p.h. stable and reuseable. I use them in my d.w.c. and on top of any kind of soil or media.

She is starting to smell like red apple skins and hash kinda kool.

The expanded clay pebbles are called Hydroton.

Why thank you mam, everything goin good,but my o.g. is a runty little shite just not growing right. Shes nice and green just slow as slow can be. May put her in flower and start a bluecheese. IDK. More pics today.

I thoight hydroton was diff from clay and not renewable so they quit using it and started with clay. Idk I read that somewhere could be some miss information.

Hey DK.....how are you this morining my friend?:)......jsut a quick question....i tend to get confused between the different journals:)lol.......anyway.....do you defol in flower?.....once the stretch is over....basically have you ever checked out bassmans defol?.......i know chrystal is only 17 days right now, but looks like a couple will need defol.....if you do that?:)......jsut curious.....if you havent tried it it really opens the lowers up to the light:).....anyway:)you know.....or maybe you dont cause i really dont now:)loll
 
I keep the defoil to min in flower, for some reason it sets me back big time I dont know why I see people do it with ease.
I did to my blue mystic hard at start and she is two weeks behind where I need her to keep my schedules some what regular.
On chrystal I kept to a min and every branch that had fans removed streached harder, sooooo. I am most certianly doing it wrong.
