Thanks bud,...ya, they have a ways to go yet . I figure another 3 weeks till fully ripe. By then the other four babies will be ready for the show. Enjoy the weekend .....
Yes Doobs , have some light bleaching...no worries ,..tells me they are receiving their maximum amount. Colas like it,..they always get nice and fat under these lights , so some bleaching is very , very minor for the trade off...know what i mean bud?...Cheers ,..enjoy your weekend.Looking pretty sweet! For everyone out there,..i apologize for not getting to all your journals but tbh , i always rely on those damn notifications ....and well, i just don't receive them anymore.
FYI, i was on the phone the other night with Rob G. president and CEO for the mag. We had a long talk about how things are and what needs to be done etc. He explained this all to me and echoed his frustration about those notifications too. There is more to this than meets the eye. Have lots to say and info to pass along from him but need a few coffees first....lol.

I call the small plant the "Purple Dwarf"

for anyone else who maybe in similar boats, this really works if the soil is hot. Doc suggest this to me during summer and it really helped a lot. The stress reduction for the plant was visible. I just used ice packs too - placed em on the soil and draped a towel over the pot - the 35-40degC day’s were less stressful for me too after that! Thanks DB!

Hey Duggs, glad you got to have a direct one on one with Rob. I did post something to them about a week ago to see about the notifications but hadn’t had an answer - so I’m glad something happened. Even though it’s not a fix, at least you have it from the horses mouth now about how challenged they are to get it all ironed out with very limited resources. Instead of me trying to be a go between!

Great day to ya Beamer...hope you are well sir! Ya eh..."purple dwarf"...she never really did too much and simply got overpowered by the Purple Envy , next to her. I tried to make her ride as pleasant as possible but still didn't get very big. Anyhow , she will still give me a little to jar up for the tasting experience. As Michael from MMS told me..it's best to grow a few and take the most vigorous one from the 3. Next time.....cheers Beamer....I call the small plant the "Purple Dwarf"

I'm gonna start taking guesses soon i expect.....my guess will be about 25 zips...hoping for more but that will be peachy .
Ok...Amy and gang...about the notification thing. In talking with Rob G. the other night on the phone....there are a few issues.The new platform does NOT allow for unlimited outgoing email notifications....there was a problem with the old system going way over the quota every month. There is a limit for those, and with the new platform , they have been reduced to counter act that problem. Also, people were simply getting way too many emails and were getting annoyed at them all. Rob did add , that this issue has frustrated him as well in his daily routine stuff around the mag. To get notifications, regularly , you simply have to visit that particular thread and either 'like' a post or make one yourself. Do either one of these things , and you should/will get an email notice for that thread. Yes, many of us are pissed off, me included , but after a long talk with Rob,...he and his team really are working very hard to please everyone and they are short staffed right now as well.
He said to pass all this on to my gang and that they are truly working very hard. He was/is also very interested in the feedback he is getting...good and bad. Wants to hear it all. If there are any genuine concerns or if there is anyone willing to help him out and join his team of mods and people behind the scenes , to let him know.

FYI, towards the end of flowering, I've put icepacks around the base of the plant to both signal the plant that winter was coming and she needed to finish up; and, it's a great trick to get the purple/blue strains that require cold temps to change color to turn when growing indoors.
Girls look great! I like how Purple Envy fully encompassed your "fence" you made around Star Pupil. It was funny seeing her peek around the back side. I think you will beat your 25 zips. I will go with 28.
Colas looking like a bunch of missiles ready to launch. Every P. Envy I've seen shows no color. They ought to change the name. Lol. Everything looking fine Duggan.

Yes...i feel shitty for being so Hacks...bin so busy with life ..you know! anyhow a few pics of the Ace stuff comin up. Gonna post these in Neiko's 'Ace' thread too. For those wondering how the grow is coming along....well, colas and buds look fat .Still spitting out loads and loads of pistils...bulking up nicely. Will get some pics up in next few days to show. Ok here are the A5 X Malawi 's and the Thai Chi's.
