DrZiggy's Low And Slow Drying: Maximizing Your Harvest

Its a crap shoot outdoors in late summer

Yeah see my autos should do super well as it will be less humidity by the time they all flower ?

Also penny since your here lol

The cream crack and white cheese nukem plant I have outdoors Will they veg until time change daily light savings ends? Is that when they go to flower?

I like it h202 seems to make sense to use for me. I heard I can put it in a spray bottle and spray buds in flower any one have any thoughts on this? Trying to kill mold right now with humidity and all this rain lately it's killin my crops .

I inherited white powdery mildew with a few plants gifted to me for my first grow. I tried numerous approaches, spraying with H202 was one of them. It worked ok for just hitting the occasional spot of mildew, but I found a milk foliar spray to be the ticket.

I mix 1 part organic 1% milk with 8or9 parts RO water, and spray them down good both tops and bottoms of all leaves and buds. This seems to keep them mold free for about two weeks before I would see any spots of mildew. It's best to try different ratios until it leaves a bit of white crusty residue on the leaves and then back off the milk just a bit. But it's really just about looks because I've had them covered with the crusties and they never missed a beat in growth so I know it didn't significantly impact photosynthesis.

How I know beyond doubt that it works is because the two clones from those plants went crazy in veg and since I was focused on those in flower did very little as far a thinning for air circulation. I was diligent however in doing the milk spray every two weeks. I put them in flower July 16 and have seen only 1 tiny spot of what I think was mildew starting.

I was planning to kill off these strains after this run but I may not need to now. I can build a good stock of oil from them before I move on to other strains.

I used mildew cure the first go round when I had a great deal of WPM. It works well and both it and H202 appear to kill it on contact, but the milk spray lasts longer and has no adverse effect on flowers.

Thanks for sharing that info I've screenshot your ratio Guess I'll take preventative measures on my white cookies feminized seeds from cks. I have had to remove a few off there as well they go brown like they rot almost right ? Lol

You'd think that Mother Nature would find its own way to keep a better immune system to fight mold pest etc .

Sighs difficult bitches they are ..

It's. It fun it spreads like a wild fire.

Ruins such art.

It's outdoor due to rain and humidity in southern Ontario they call us. Lol .

Think o might stick with growing only indoor and in fall . No more outdoor. Or only veg outdoor . ..
8 oz Nuke Em(R) (New Formula)

Thanks Doc, bong induced flip at weeee hours of the morning. Lol
Only ships within the states man. Sucky
That sucks. I know they make products for Canada. Didn't know this wasn't one of them.
SM90 works, can be applied throughout flowering. It's a wetting agent than works on mildew.
H202 1 to 4 or stronger will not harm plants. Does not prevent only kills.
Milk any flavor. 1 to 8 or greater. Apply in early morning sun. Needs the sun and heat to activate the enzymes to kill.
All work to keep mildew in check.
Good luck

I wrote the company..

"Hello .....,

At this time we do not ship outside the United States except to our distributors. In Canada, you can find our products through Ozzy Hydroponics(www.ozzyhydroponics.com,(416) 663-2999).

Canada Health has not approved Nuke Em for sale in Canada. However Rx12 Plant Wash is a similar product that is available for Canadians.

Best Regards,"

Smaller buds are at 68% humidity. I didn't get to them yesterday, so they had a day where they didn't set out.

Jarred and beginning the cure.

Larger buds are still too moist.
