DrZiggy's Low And Slow Drying: Maximizing Your Harvest

Hi everyone, after drying my flowers and packing them into jars, how long should I continue burping them before sealing the jars for long-term storage?
Do you burp them every day or just a few times a week?
Currently, I’m storing the jars with the flowers and an Integra 62% (2-way humidifier) in the fridge, set to 15-16°C (61°F), to avoid high temperatures affecting them. I’m burping the jars once a day for 15 minutes, but I’m unsure how long I should continue this process. When is the product considered fully cured and ready for use or long-term storage?

I had two plants—one is already in Grove bags, as I mentioned in earlier posts, but I did not have enough bags for the second plant, which was harvested later, so I packed it into glass jars."

There's really no hard rule here. When I finish the dry my buds are ~64ish RH, so I'll burp several times a day to keep it at 62 as much as possible. Once it settles to 62 I will burp once a day max for a week ish. That's about it. I have read many will continue to burp for the entire cure. Once a month, every 3 months, then once every 6 months etc. i don't really like this since moisture is escaping every time you open the jar. For long term storage (6 months or longer) I use grove bags. For daily consumption I use mason jars with boveda.

I don’t burp.

I go from fridge to Grove Bag and commence the cure.
