DrZiggy's 2nd Journal - ACE Seeds - High Brix - LEDs

i haven't moved them from their spot since being planted. i have rotated the softees in the past. Not now.. I can pour into the tiers without too much effort, and the 4 softees have a large drip pan under each so I can pour drench into it and soaks from roots upward.
i need to trim some leaves weds and maybe try a few clones from the later flowering plants, no pistils like the Panama...ie. Purple Haze, Purple Malawi and Golden Tiger..they have a much longer flowering period.
 
Gave ACE plants a drenching of Transplant/Tea, 4 Qts/10gal softee from the bottom, 2 qts over the top, got sprayed with DeStressed
one way I may proceed to make more space weds...gather pollen from the males, and chop them. :)

Anyone have ideas to gathering and storing pollen?


Have to locate my juicer...may just use my blender
 
Hey brotha....what ya got cookin? Shortbread cookies w/canna-butter....lots of butter. Ya know....here's the thing Zig.....you all could just whip some ,up :surf: ,me .....not so much.:tokin: How long will my butter ,keep in the freezer bud? Duggan, good evening!! shortbrread cookies...lets make some weds, tomorrow?......cannabutter will last months in freezer, except mine. :)

you have time weds?

you need flour, cannabutter, sugar, vanilla. the sugar can be confectioners or casters or regular granulated. Brown sugar will add a nice almost butterscotch flavor. ;)

if your butter is frozen, put it on counter.. it needs to be room temp.

If you don't need to juice them all now they can be frozen Ziggy. Then again, if you juice them all could you preserve them as ice cubes? I can't imagine why not. Then simply toss the cubes into your dish or smoothy.

Have you looked into hulled seeds yet?

hemp seeds? TY i put some shelled hemp seeds(swanson vitamins) in my smoothies..great stuff! :)

I do that too with other herbs as well...ice cube trays, then zip bags...:thumb:

Thx, SweetSue. I'm very flattered.

The espalier system might very well work to tame some of those unruly sativas. I'm growing a Trainwreck under pseudo-LOS and it's worked superbly. The greater stiffness of HB grows would not be a hindrance, I think, because most of the veryLST happens at the branch ends where they are most pliable. They can easily be grown into whatever shape suits your fancy.

Your giving out valuable info by accident Doc Zig! I just threw out some cannabutter because it started to mold. No-one ever mentioned that you should put it in the freezer for extended storage. I figured it was just like butter; could last forever in the fridge. Thanxx a million.

Panama :Love: She's a total spazz right? Little rockets :rofl: She's similar in color to the one I had. I think I actually had the red pheno, but it won't show pink pistils inside, so it looks the same as the green pheno. From a thread 'elsewhere' - Red smells like strong lemons, Green is more pine-spice-lemon. Green effect is slightly more clear, red is a bit thicker. Loving the jungle :circle-of-love:

Great day today!! Busy!! which is way I like it :)
-I trimmed the ACE plants, Culled the male and hermie branches/sacs. Saving the pollen :thumb: he's pollenated enough.
-Took clones of the plants, should be interesting
-Trim taken- washed(I like my 'fish' identifiable-TY), dried in salad spinner, put in fridge till Thursday
-Attached rods to the 2 P450s, (thx again you guys), will free up 9-10" in tent..definitely may need it..
-Got my new grinder..a Space Grinder, Black...4 piece...:thumb:
-Maiden grind was my first harvest Willie Nelson -3 hits on a small pipe, cripes...Doc, 15!?? :thumb: :thumb:
-More in J1
