Ok, that's enough of that! I got the leaf angle close enough to the 50* to call it good and gave her a half watering. I'm getting some amber on the top buds so I'll let her take in some hydration and probably chop in the next few days.
Close works here, it's like horseshoes
I remember looking at @Stunger 's plants at all the limp hanging leaves, but was still a little surprised at how quickly it came on. One day they were fine, the next day started to droop and then, wham! Will be interesting to see if any of them recover. :laughtwo:
Oh stop, they will surprise the shit out of you
I'd like to make it to Saturday for my convenience, but will have to see. I like 'em a bit amber anyway so I'll probably find a way to justify waiting. Lol.
How much is a bit, I'm just curious?

Thank you for stepping out onto the ledge for us Azi. I appreciate it as all those inquisitive do as well
Beautiful buds on them, K! Thanks for your previous post on droughting. You work very hard on this thread and I am sure I speak for all... :thanks::bravo:
Hey there Scott thanks so much on both counts. I know this type of stuff can get boring but also complex sometimes when its down to the science of it all so i try my best to find things that fall somewhere in the middle for everyone who frequents here.

All of the in depth science talks have a tendency to scare people away, I want everyone to know it's something that everyone and anyone can do to better their harvests and their smoke
I will look into the exact weekage, I'm doing a Sour Diesel Grow (and others) right now, on my second grow journal! She's the one I'd like to drought, as this sounds extremely interesting! Thank you for the information @Krissi1982
Awesome, lmk Darade. Feel free to document here once you do or provide links to your own documentations so we can follow along. I'm always happy following a drought! And please reference here whenever you would like or PM me for a quick reaponse!
If only our ladies didn't work 5 days a week. :laughtwo:
Looking forward to seeeing them (hint, hint)
Hahaha riiiight
Pulled a plant out
Left it to drought
Then did nowt
Now it's in a jar and marvellous
I like it. I like it a lot. You said something funny and made the mic drop
Pinch of sodium chloride in the nutrient solution? Food crop farmers who grow via hydroponic methods are learning how to use sodium/salt to get the same response that soil-grown plants produce when subjected to water restriction. Helps produce flavorful tomatoes. Which is good, if you like the taste of the things. (Turns out the name "Beefsteak" is undeserved :( .)
Hey there TS, thanks so much for this information!!! We haven't seen BG in a while but heck, we are always on the lookout for words of wisdom like this!
Is that like a haiku or something? :hmmmm:
I think it was a rap

Beauty!
So, uh, hows it smoke?
Like a berry farm and smooth as can be. Hits like a mother at 25% non-droughted THC #s. I really need to send them all off for testing post droughts GB

Glad this opened again. Thanx Krissi. Here is my WW after her last water last night 6 1/2 weeks :passitleft:

It's always open buddy. My apologies for not being here more consistently over the last few months. This is some fucking plant and a helluva drought candidate with her stature. She's gonna rock it boy. Me likey, can't wait to see her start to finish

Hey! I just noticed the "The Clone Cellar & Seeds" I saw they were pretty inexpensive plants, how are the plants, is the delivery any faster than what they claim (2 weeks after paying)?

Also WOW, HELLA FROSTY!! :thedoubletake:

They’re in Michigan I’m in Ohio so we’re close. When shipped two days till I had it
Oh crap, I'm in Cali, so that's what I kinda was worried about lol.

Inexpensive? That would be $15. But, yeah, I browsed the website, too - and added one of those Ghost Train Haze clones to my "things to spend money on of I find a winning PowerBall ticket," lol. I've read it was a decent strain.

I thought they had all kinds of "clone only" stains out there in CA, people passing them around to their friends, selling them in stores, and even on Craigslist?

What?? Nah not even the dispensaries carry plants or seeds. Maybe in L.A, I found 2 Hydro shops and that was it, where I'm at (none clone, only weird bogus seeds)!

Huh. I guess they'd rather sell you bud for the rest of your days, instead of clones once?

Used to be, people wanted to get by. Now, it seems that everyone wants to get rich.

Thanks for posting that Krissi...and welcome back after your long absence! It's definitely great to see that the science is getting involved in testing some of the theories that are floating around, and it would be nice to have this study duplicated later in flower when the whole CBG/CBD/THC thing could be completely different.

I have a friend with a pretty discerning palate for cannabis, so I gave her unmarked samples of my droughted Sour G and the undroughted clone I grew immediately after. Not really a scientific test at all, but I was curious what she thought. She thought the undroughted one gave a more intense and longer-lasting high. :hmmmm: That's all I have on those two so far.

I was going to have them both tested for cannabinoid content, but that's $75/plant. If I wanted terps tested as well it would be an additional $100/plant. But rather than test these two unscientific grows I was thinking of growing out two clones this fall and droughting one in the most scientific test I can run at home. That would probably be a better use of my money for testing.
I think some real side by side documented grows with a few different types sativa, indica, etc common cuts will be the only for sure thing.
My environment isn't dialed in enough for back to back grows to be good comparisons.
What I've seen so far is good enough to make me more interested though.

I'm sorry Shed, missed this page going back on these feeds! Thank you, i apologize that life has just been chaotic and we all know i really need time to do my research here before i just start posting again!

You're welcome, it's just something so refreshing to see and it means so much more experimenting to come hopefully in ways like you mentioned!

Percentages are one thing and your palette is another along with your body so that would be a great idea. I could also run a double of 2 something over the fall and see what happens in the same scenario in both and indica and a sativa and look for and note any differentials or similarities. I'd absolutely save your $

Edit...just saw @423 s post. That's so funny, I'm on it in the fall

I mean, I also have no idea how I would find Local cannabis growers either lol.

Find a convenience store that's out of papers, and hang out until you hear someone unsuccessfully try to buy a pack. Walk past while muttering, "I wish I had something to put in mine."
