I've recently discovered my grow has suffered from my poor quality lighting ... and from my hanging the light too high over the canopy so I am going to ask around for suggestions before I run out and purchase one. Unfortunately, I don't have time to build one.

I really want to do my reasearch right this time!

Basically I need a nice light ... not too expensive ... for a 4x4 grow tent. In my tent, I run the exhaust fan 24-0 so heat won't be an issue.

I'm hearing the SP-250's from MARS are the way to go right now. Do I have that right @Preston9mm @Dutchman1990 ?
If I have the model right both these guys are happy with the results for the price point.

Preston runs the SP-250 and I use the SP-150!

Both are fantastic lights for the price point and they produce some serious growth! Check out either of our journals for a reference and I have a video from yesterday showing them and their abilities in the tent! Hope you don’t mind me posting it here Sauga!

We were hi there and see you in the spring type of guys. He was very handy. Apparently he tried to start his own business last year and failed. He owed a lot and I believe he stopped taking his meds for depression.

Well, what I say and mean are usually two different things. I don't hate my neighbors, and especially would never think anything like this would happen to any of them.

That hits way too close to home. Unfortunately depression runs in my wife’s family. We’ve had 3 on her side. Something I will never understand. Prayers to their family.

I'll try and summarize what happened, as there's lots behind the scenes that I wont go into.
It was the older brother, around 30. His younger brother works construction. The parents had gone back to Croatia, as they always do around this time of year, and had been there for a couple of weeks already. They tend to stay for a month or longer. The younger bro went to work and left him there alone. The older brother talked with the neighbor on the other side and borrowed some smokes. That was the last they had seen him alive. His brother came home for lunch and found him in the backyard with the bow through the heart. That was on Friday morning. Today they just removed the tape. I'm assuming the investigation was lengthy due to the type of suicide. Probably lots of questions to be answered.

The older boy had 100K to invest in a business. He rented a place in Toronto, had rail parties, and before you know it the buisness went bust.
His close friend was killed in a stabbing less than a year ago. He was on meds for schizophrenia, which he stopped a couple of weeks ago. A couple of months ago he tried to turn his life around, went to church and always carried a bible around with him. Made amends with friends. I guess it was his way of getting ready to go.

So the parents are back and pretty distraught. I would imagine they will sell the place in the not so distant future.
 
What a horrible thing for his parents and brother.

That is aweful for the family ... it must be incredibly difficult to recover from or try to rationalize something like that.

I'm sure you'll be neighborly and help out as best you can :)
