Dr Bob Comes Home With Fruit Punch & Lemonista Aid - So Please Don't Be Critical

I just see rapidly growing tender green shoots, Bob. If you're concerned (and I don't think you should be) go ahead and top dress. I like to mix 1 part Yum, 1 part castings, and two parts fresh soil. ~ 1 cup in that size pots. No risk of burn and a nice nitrogen lift from the 2-1-1 yum and the 1-0-0 castings. Watch out for the guano. I saw you did 2 T of the 0-14-0 on the flowering plants and that is a BUNCH.

Stay anti-draconian, Bob. It seems to be working out well for you. :circle-of-love:

Thanks PeeJay. I am now just pulling a few a day, about a solo cup full, and the next day they seem to fill right back in. I can see through the plants now though and there isn't near the moisture.

The truth is that they are so happy in your soil and looking so nice I hate clipping their wings. But, it is for their own good.

Here is how they are looking this afternoon at 22 days from the flip to 12/12.

The Critical Kush is really starting to put on the sugar.

And the Fruit Punch is just getting started with it.

I didn't take a bud pic of the Lemonista as she is just going slower than the others and there is no quoted time from the breeder on finishing. So, she may be in there with the next group as well. We shall see.

Another update in the garden today was more air. I have been putting off dealing with the lack of make up air in the tent and finally got off my duff today. Here is the ventilation setup now.
Scrubber to 4'' line to high volume fan venting outside the tent

Make up air comes from a 4'' booster fan down low

This is my big box fan that keeps the air in the whole tent moving all the time. She is up over the lights and runs at half speed.

All leaves wiggling gently now and the temp and humidity dropped nicely.

Time to go indulge in some white widow X big bud.

Great info PeeJay as I was just poking my way ahead in the dark on this one. I wasn't sure what was the best approach on these veg girls as I really don't want to over N punch them.

On the flower girls nute treat, I had given one of the Fruit Punches the 2 Tbl of Yum Yum and 1 of the guano and it didn't even skip a beat. In fact it looked better a couple hours after feeding. So I thought what the hey and gave more to the other 3 the next day. What would you suggest to give a bump to those girls? They are all showing red stems, pretty bright too.

Thanks for checking in on them. You are their Godfather after all. I can just see it now.....

(Que Brady Bunch Dream Waves)

Dr Bob: Those terrible nute slingers! They burned my girl and they went free that very day! I stood in the garden like a fool. And those two bottle pushers, I swear they smiled at me. Then I said to my wife, "for justice, we must go to Don PeeJay.

Don PeeJay: Why did you go to the bottled nutes? Why didn't you come to me first?

Dr Bob: What do you want of me? I ask you for justice.

Don PeeJay: That is not justice; your plants are still alive.

Dr. Bob: Then make their yield suffer then, as mine suffers.

Don PeeJay: Dr Bob, Dr Bob... What have I ever done to make you treat me so disrespectfully? Had

you come to me in friendship, then the bottled salt slingers that ruined your garden would be suffering

this very day. Some day, and that day may never come, I'll call upon you to trim all my harvest for me. But uh,

until that day -- accept this justice as a gift on my seed's germination day.

Dr Bob: Grazie, Godfather.

Oddly I picture this coming out of a two foot green child with a leaf for a hat.

Dang digitty dr!

Your ladies are even more beautiful than your photography skills. The fact that you still take advice and are humble enough to listen shows that you my friend are the top of the line grower. Many people with way less beautiful plants think they know it all.

Awesome job brother doctor! :bravo:

:rofl::rofl::rofl::goof:

Bob, in flower I tend to give the plants "treats" once a week or so. One week the top dressing mentioned above scratched well into the top inch of the dirt. Scratch it in like you mean it and don't worry if you feel roots. The next week I like General Organics BioMarine which is a squid hydrosylate. It comes in a bottle (shudder.) It is 2-3-1 so a nice phosphate nudge for making phospholipids (trichomes) and has a dice dollop of chitin to boot. I drench @ 1tsp/gallon usually 2 gallons to a ten gallon pot. The third week I like to lightly foliar feed with Sea Com PGR which is a cold water kelp extract 0-5-5. That one is done at 1/4 tsp/ gallon. I'm not religious about it. These things are like dog biscuits, "good girl" *pat on the head.* There is no hand wringing, floor pacing, or worry when and why. It's just an occasional treat.

Too kind good sir. At least this grow I am just letting my friends lead the way and trying to avoid my mistakes of the past.

The only thing I have figured out on this camera is how to set a white point. But it is very good at making me look better than I am.
:thanks:

:morenutes: Thanks for the recipes! Don't get me wrong, I am not anti bottled nutes at all, but everyone is a target when comedy is the weapon. :laughtwo:

And I am with you and I love this no worry method of growing. No burns, essentially no deficiencies and it smells good in the tent even during veg. In fact, doing the soil this time around has made me excited for this summer and a whole suite of growing vegies and flowers.

:high-five:

I'll have two of whatever Doc B is smoking over there please...

You are way too late. :lot-o-toke: But it was that White Widow X Bid Bud Bud you see above in the close up. Hang on and I can break out another from the jar. Here ya go :passitleft:

I love your garden Dr. Bob. I'm growing a C.K
As well but from dinafem not barneys. I hope mine look that nice this far into flower.

She has been a monster from the git go. I really hope the smoke is good because growing her has been a ball. The dinafem will be interesting to compare. Stick around and enjoy the joint with arteekay and I.

:welcome:

Hay man don't Bogart that joint, (Cheech and Chong).
:passitleft: :joint:

No worries Man, we got another all ready :rollit:

F#cken hell mate! Those flowering girls are absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to see what they look like once they start stacking those buds. Doc Cannabi is right... a humble master at work.

About time! :)

Too late! Pffft!

It's never too late when the jar is bottomless! :bongrip:

I was just looking at my last girls at the same number of days or so. Right now I am feeling more lucky than a master. Maybe a Master listener finally. Now I was looking at your earlier grows and good gosh man, in Oct 2013 you posted this beauty
Blaze's Vanilla Kush fetched by a time machine

Looks like you have been doing some beautiful work for a while. And Purple Wreck sounds good. Was it?
:Namaste:
Bob ;)

Thanks bud! Although looking at that bud, it was harvested a bit early. I think it's the vanilla kush. Was a great smoke after a few weeks cure though.

The purple wreck was nothing short of spectacular. I would love to grow that again, but I can't seem to find those beans anymore.

I can't find the Reserva Privada that you ran but interestingly HSO is now offering a Purple Wreck. Different genetics though or at least they are not claiming the same. That Urkle vs Trainwreck RP sounds just perfect. Out of stock everywhere for sure though.

Bob ;)

Not everywhere hehehe

Oh now your are just teasing. I have been searching for Blaze this morning and couldn't find one in stock anywhere. The HSO yes, the RP, no.

Your holding drcannabi, time to share. :rollit:
Bob ;)

All looks good in here my fine fellow! Happy plants indeedie :) bravo!

Thanks so much Light! I can hardly keep myself from messing with them. I should go pop more seeds to keep myself occupied.
