Dr Bob Comes Home With Fruit Punch & Lemonista Aid - So Please Don't Be Critical

It is Friday, I suppose we all let loose. I could bake those brownies tonight and have an extra slice tonight...... :laughtwo:

Nice seed wish list Bob. Enviable, even. I'd like to see you do a Dark Devil Auto outdoors. I imagine you have some tight timelines for outdoors there.

Ok I need one or four of those... tell tell please!

Bob, I think I've had a few too many Modus Madarinas. That graph just looks like blurry wiggly lines. I'll take your word for it that it represents positive data.

Nothing all that fancy really. It is just our house wireless thermometer/RH sensor from Amazon. Made by lacrosse but there are many out there. They now have a feature that you can connect them to your house wireless network and register with their service. Then you can check the conditions from anywhere on a web page. They are sold at the grocery store even. I normally use more standards driven stuff you can get at a home supply shop, but this was laying there so I tossed it in and voila.

What it shows in those wiggles is that my temps are 92/68 and RH 78/38. I have added fans as noted above so now the RH doesn't reach 60%. Top temp also dropped. Even though we are cool here, my house and especially bedroom are all south facing windows. It can get in the 80s during the winter on a 30F day that is sunny. If things head the other way and drop below 0F I expect the low temps to be about 58F and highs in the low 80s. Kinda wish that would happen to see some colors pop out.

That orangey, zesty, hoppy beer sounds quite nice indeed.
Bob ;)

Oh, ok.

The moderators are going to delete this and I'm going to get a scolding for setting a bad example for other members. Graphs?

Now that I gave the Doc a chuckle the rest of you will will have to click this link so I don't get scolded.

Be the Ball

As the Danny in this cliche I must say thank you for the zen lesson there and taking one for the team. I love that movie.

And SHHHHH everyone. Moderator Smails has sentenced younger men than PeeJay to the gas chamber.
:bravo:

The timelines are crazy. I was looking yesterday and we are still dropping into the low 30s through May, but then June warms up to 50s at night along with July. August it could snow. So, I will have just enough time to pull a run out I hope. My plan is to put them out now in large outdoor containers so if worse comes to worse I can pull them inside.

A dark devil that finishes in 24 hour sun but getting 50s even still could end up nice. And hey, if they are in containers and it is a total wash, then I can just finish them in a tent. Fine and dandy like sour candy!

Brownies sound fabulous. I also got a gummy bear kit for Christmas. I want canna bears.

Some basic Zen like observations that I can't back up with graphs.

If you're doing an auto crop in your climate then you want the too cold part on the late flower end of the spectrum. When an auto flowers is more determined by age than size. You want the plants to grow as much and fast as possible before they reach the age of sexual maturity and go into flower. Once they are flowering the cold will only slow the ripening process - not growth.

Think about the wonky Chit. It spend days and days with overnight temps sinking into the low 30s. It didn't do anything crazy when it went down to 28. Target veg for the longest days of light and warm temperature for max growth?

Is there a usual wet season during the growing window? Gotta consider that, too.

The rainy season and the cold will be the book ends that keep this summer auto grow in check. I will need to get one sprouted mid May indoors and into the outdoor ground by late May, just when the temps warm up. She would hit solstice and the best sun/weather 1 month into life and come out of the ground just as things get a bit rainy and cold. That will give it the best weather and sun during that veg time. It may work great or be a major fail. We shall see. It may simply come down to big pots and moving in and out occasionally and getting a good summer.

I may do the same girls indoors at the same time to compare. It would be fun.

I have had a change of heart on the list and I am calling in a substitution. Purple Trainwreck is out and in comes 00 Seeds Bubble Gum! I love bubblegum strains and this one sounds great. I have lots of purple in this list so far so I think I really am liking it now.

Thanks millertm! I do using just the simple picture viewer app (Preview on the Mac) as it allows for annotating (adding stuff to pics like text, audio notes etc). As I open them anyway to check the color settings it is easy to quickly type the name for reference later. Most picture viewer apps do this nowadays. Double check the one you use and I bet you will find it somewhere.

Cheers!

Thanks, I'm not an apple guy. Which is why I was asking. Thanks.

Apple does have nice new equipment rolling out onto vendor shelves every 6 months... just too bad all those 3rd world sweatshop workers at Foxconn have to suicide in order to make all of this possible.

I figure if it's being made in China, might as well buy from a Chinese brand and tell crApple to get lost! :cheesygrinsmiley:

Looking Good Dr. Bob a.k.a. weed growing champion!
