Dos-Si-Dos & Wedding Cake ala Dope Seeds

Hey there, staying warm?
Not really.

I'm having issues keeping everyone warm enough.

We got over a foot of snow and my place is pretty drafty when there is a decent wind about.

I just caught up. Wow, man, killer job. I have a few questions for you if you don't mind.

- That supercropping job: it appears that you supercropped the main cola and the rest are pulled out in clock fashion, yes? And how difficult was it to do that sc? Were you able to do that in one session?

- On your Shed-style removal of interior growth on that one plant you really liked: So basically the idea is to be able to look down and see four equal sized and perfectly shaped dark, leafless, roughly triangular shaped spaces between each node? As if you have four mains, 90 degree situation with everything blanked out? That's what appears to be the case, and it's awesome. So clean. So neat. My OCD bones are vibrating from this, not to mention the way the branches are perfectly stacked in the same line on top of one another. I love this plant. Superior work.

Also your DSD looks much like two of my three. I got one pheno that looks different, but two of mine are very similar to that. That's kind of what I was hoping to see when I first mentioned it early on. Makes me feel like I'm doing it right. Lol.

Great work

Hi Jon, kind of. The supercrop came where the plant went from double to single node and I bent maybe 2 single nodes, thought it was one really. She is an odd one! Tall and close to the trunk, especially comparing to her sister, short and wide. Her branches all sprung out on the day I did it when asked. Surprising!

Which plant? My goal was to remove every shoot from the plant that wouldn't see great light. My grows have had too much weak inner bud taking resources away from the good buds lately.
Makes me feel like I'm doing it right.
Haha, you're doing lots of things right!

I'm hitting it with some pollen. Maybe some cherry tasting Red Sky, or more floral Black Poison Skunk. What would you pick?
Both!?!?!
But if I had to choose? The Skunk since it's working for you. It could end up being amazing. If it is ,I could see it being worthwhile to put in some long term work and stabilize it over a few generations.
You have a clone going?
Hit it with the Red Sky second?

Does the RS really taste/smell like cherries? Cherries are my favorite fruit (they make my mouth itch) and I've been looking for a good one for my vault.

I could hit two small buds. No clone, and I'm not sure which one it might be either, we smoke em at will.
Yes the RS is super cherry flavored, a nice strong indica that grows looking more like a sativa. My friends appeared out of nowhere after they tasted it and smoked me out fast.

So far my tiny steps into breeding have brought me to think the female plant does most of the flavor and plant structure work. The pollen allows me to get it from them with a slight twist of the new parent. Anything's possible though. I'm going to have to do lots of testing! Our friend from Texas would say Fun Fun Fun! :passitleft: Now you have me missing RS

QUAD CLEANUP IN LOWER ISLE UPDATE

I'm back at it! I checked the flowering days. It's like 16 days. Most of stretch is done and I went to town getting all the branching off that were blocking another plant or would never see the light. There's a new sheriff in town and I've been watching InTheShed closely as he builds beautiful buds! I got a bunch off.
The leaves survived.

Now it's time to make a beef stew, Yum!

Highya SO,

Busy place you have here. Maybe I'm just slowing down. Gorgeous garden as usual. So many things I wanted to comment on, and as stoners are, I can't remember what they were. So, love the trim job on the cannatonic. I have some ACDC cross seeds, but I think it's very strong. Thought about something with a better flavor. All of your ladies are looking so nice. Happy Smokin'

I hear you Bode! I'm slow for weeks then BOOM busy for the same. I'm happy to be at it! This trimming wasn't possible last indoor grow as my health has gotten temporarily better! I'll take that! These 3 gallon pots are nicely mobile too on the quads.
They're gorgeous! I hope the Forum works for you as well as it works for VG, but her suggestion of the Skunk cross is definitely worth a shot for your pain.

Sending loads of SoCal sunshine to you today...raining Monday and Tuesday here so enjoy it while you can.
I'm thinking one of The Revs is helping, it may be the bp skunk, chunky cherry thai, or dark matter.

That bp skunk is so elegant tasting, I have to give it a shot. The good feeling crept up on me so I can't pinpoint where it came from.
Yum indeed! Warm my body to the bone. It’s cold and wet here and that sounds so good.
Stew made now me stewed:passitleft:how bout some Lemon OG Candy today?

Yet another stellar grow evolving in Stoneville! :Rasta:

I forget about others who are dealing with debilitating health maladies. Seems most of us are dealing with something! I hope our one love is helping ease the pain, and discomfort. Shoutout to all who are having physical problems. I hope you get much relief using cannabis in different ways. It sure helps me to cope with aches and pains of getting old!! Happy Smokin'
