Dos-Si-Dos & Wedding Cake ala Dope Seeds

AWAY TEAM UPDATE @Remo Nutrients ON STANKBERRYS

Hi, we gave the away team some lst today. My BIL is doing a great job with these babies! Another few weeks of veg and its flower time. He's enjoying the REMO so much he went out and bought some of his own! Sweet!
The REMO Ladies.

Your BIL has got him some skills..
I see why he likes the @Remo Nutrients ...those ladies look great!

He also grows with his son. I kind of keep back and admire and learn from their work and step in when asked. His son is has a completely different growing outlook sometimes. It's fun to compare notes.
Either your BIL hired @Grand Daddy Black to sit on those or he has supercropping down pat. Looking great in there!
You noticed. Most of them, in my opinion, were late to the lst party so basically layed down ala supercrop. No crunching between fingers though.
BIL did a great job on those! Much more precise than I could have done.
You're garden always looks on the level to me GDB!
Knew you'd like the Terpinator shot.
That's another bit of goodness in his garden. I can't use @Terpinator with my soil, when I do it gives them nute burn, so he's been using it for flowering.

Did u just start feeding with remo products?

I’ll pay a close attention on this because been thinking about remo’s nutes. Local hydro store selling them pretty cheap.
Also do you have remos Magnifical (calmag)? And are you using it with micro, grow, bloom?
Remo cal/mag had 3% N

No Verb, this is some winnings that I had around. My BIL is using them in his grow and I get to see it now and then. My soil won't let me use it.

MY MEMORY'S NOT TOO GOOD UPDATE

HEHE, Yep, I remembered to post the pic of the BT I can still buy but I can't remember who was curious to know. So if it was you, here ya go. I haven't tried this one out yet but it's available in the world. Powdered BT is what I kill off my fungus gnats with in LOS. The ones living in my mother plant are all but gone now! Yay!

GOOD FRIDAY EVENING UPDATE

Hi everyone, the Wedding Cakes finally grew into a shape to lst so I went to town to them! I whittled all the unnecessary bud shoots and short branches, and layed down the tops for a flat top.

We're 70 days in veg . These Wedding Cakes are so different. One in the back is a tower. I didn't think she had any branches, but she opened up pretty good.
The one in back.
Splayed nicely.
The triple noded Wedding Cake up front is complicated! She needed to get a ton of trim off. She's busy but got spread out too! Very different to her sister.
And they all live for a few more days dreaming of the flip.
@Dope-Seeds for the win! Without them I wouldn't know these Black Skull!

That Triple-noder looks beastly, Stone!

Thanks man, you can't tell I broke one of her tops off the other day doing some last minute tired leaf removing. Doe!
Excellent training Otter! And I can picture that tent with another set of leaning towers...just like every other time. :thumb:
This time they're more well shedded though;)! Something happened and the migraines have backed off a lot and I'm getting things done! :woohoo:

DOUG'S VARIN INFO UPDATE

Hi, I was talking to a good xmember about my Doug's Varin grow coming up and she shared some info pertaining to them from a class she took.
Here it is:
THCV Tetrahydrocannabivarin
  • propyl cannabinoid
    • has 3 carbon atom chain instead of 5 found in pentane molecules
    • can have very different properties from pentane cousins
  • homolog of THC
  • thought to act as antagonist of eCB1
    • antagonist attaches to receptor, but has no effect at low doses
    • at high doses may act as eCB1 agonist
      • effects may be similar to THC at high doses
  • also partial agonist of eCB2
  • can also stimulate 5HT1 receptor
    • serotonin signalling
    • May produce antipsychotic effects as such
  • like CBD, May temper euphoria of THC
  • a quicker high, more intense, less duration (They call it “the Quickie”)
    • intensifies effects of THC
    • lessens duration of THC
  • may inhibit some of THC’s appetite stimulation
  • plants high in THCV found in
    • Afghanistan
    • Pakistan
    • China
    • India
    • Nepal
    • Thailand
    • southern and Western Africa
  • small community in Mendocino have some plants testing with 5 - 7% THCV
  • THCV interest in medical circles is on the rise
    • thought to help regulate the immune response, particularly for
      • inflammation
      • inflammatory pain
    • mouse studies suggest efficacy for
      • reducing blood sugar levels in Type 2 diabetics
      • improve glucose tolerance
      • increase insulin sensitivity

When I got the seeds a couple of months ago there was literally zero information on how it grows. Less than a year later there will be several grow journals with different grow styles available for everyone.
Shed, VG, Nunya, and you too.
Love it.
