Doggy Daddy's Dive Into Coco

You are supposed to add silica, micro, grow, bloom and additives in that order.. Thanks for mentioning you got that from me! Helps inner growth too.. lst the whole stalk over once she is tall enough and get even more of those inner branches popping out every where.
I had no idea the order of mixing nutes matters

Right off the gh website, I believe rules are similar for other nute line ups. I will continue to add my potassium silicate last as it is my only means of ph adjustment plus f$%k it lol

Mine didn't come with such instructions but I'll sure apply this to my routine.

I'm going to stick with CalMag Plus first then silica and then micro gro and bloom. They seem happy with that so far and if the GH website recommends it then it sounds like a good plan.

Indeed it is. Altho I'd love to try dwc. If it ain't broke don't fix it DD.

My phones acting up man app is trippy, just wanted to say they are looking vibrant and happy man!

You might get me on the coco train next round

Coco seems cleaner than soil if that makes sense. But I hear you on dwc. I see so many people killing it with that or rdwc or any other hydro set up. I'll have to save up to get the equipment of course but I think that is next in line.

Well see how the pro mix does, can't beat the price on it,but if I dig this soiless thing coco may be the next move for sure

It's my understanding that while dwc is often more plentiful it also tends to be less flavorful. Is there any truth to this?

I think the soil thing vs. Dwc flavour is kind of a myth. No doubt you can get some killer bud either way, and maybe with our exploration into high brix, LOS , supersoils, and bacteria we might be able to give soil a real edge, but I've seen top notch stuff come from both hydro and soil.

Hydro tends to taste a bit more like pure terps and keef and have more of the strains flavor profiles while soil, for me anyways, seems to have a bit of a sweeter taste, the flavor of the strain mingles with what you've fed it a bit more, and id think that after sitting in a pot absorbing evaporation off itself all day, you might get a bit of that dirty taste that some of us love.

Personally I prefer soil cause I like it dirty and earthy and sweet, certainly you could achieve this in DWC but it seems to come easier in soil. That's just my feelings around it lol

It's amazing to me how most of the growers here are such conoseiurs of mj. I haven't really tried too many strains so I can't really weigh in on the flavor or effects of certain strains but that's part of the reason I got into this. To grow the best meds I can grow and compare these strains I have now to the ones I will grow in the future. I compare this to the massive craft beer seen that we have in California. Hopefully in 2018 we'll see some mom and pop growers putting out some good bud locally.

Personally I've been smoking for about 8 years now, have probably tried over 500 strains, and haven't even seen the tip of the ice berg. We live in the wild west of the cannabis industry and there's just sooo much out there to try, learn and have fun with.

Here's hoping we can be that generation of ma and pa shops, there's nothing I'd rather do than grow and offer my own bud at my own smoke lounge/glass shop.

That's the dream man :blunt:

That would be so awesome Strange. That's definitely my dream job. Tending to plants all day and getting paid for it? Sign my ass up!

It's kinda funny, our electric company just called my wife and is going to give us 35 percent off of our bill. So say to her "another light?" She told me "fuck your lights" and chuckled. I love that lady.

Lol your a lucky guy DD you got a bunch of good ladies around in your life by the sound of it .

Day 14: All is well with the babes. Even though it hit 96 degrees today. I swear that mother nature hates all of mankind right now. This will be a quick update because it's Saturday and I'm beat. These lil ones seem to almost double in size every day which I love. So... pics and that's about it.
