Doggy Daddy's Dive Into Coco

So I just fed the babes and when I opened my nute container it had a pungent odor. Could this be from the MammothP? I had my first bottle go bad and it smelled the same way that this did. But my remaining sample that I'm using doesn't have any odor at all and isn't dark in color like the first one was. Has anyone using mammoth encountered this before?
This is my reasoning for using only synthetic nutrients on my grow in coco. I didn't even use beneficial bacteria. To me coco is synthetic to begin with. Just my opinion though.

It's day 8 and I think they're doing well so far. Am actually kind of surprised by the growth in the short amount of time. Although I haven't grown a seed in a couple months so wtf do I know. Temps and humidity have stabilized and I'm a happy camper so far.
My pride and joy

She just branches outwards with perfect form and stays low. I wish I would have bought legitimate genetics a long time ago. These seeds are exceeding my expectations in coco.

Is this just the natural circling that they do while sleeping? I adjusted the lights and turned her to see if she straightens out. Either way the stem should be getting strong from the "stress".

They're all coming along decently imo. Apparently they like the stinky nutes so all is well!

I would repot the leggy one, keep a light breeze blowing on it.
Thanks PW. I'll transplant her to a 1 gallon pot asap. I'm a little low on coco atm so I think they all might go the same route then eventually find they're final homes in the 3 gallon Smart Pots.

That's my plan. I think they were only 5 or 10 bucks a piece but we're kinda living tight for the next couple weeks. I'm thinking it might be a better deal to try Amazon though

Sweet. I figured that all coco was similar other than salt content so I rinsed the shit out of my first brick. I didn't even think about the Zon for coco. My local hydro store is going to have an event soon so maybe I can talk a vendor into hooking me up with a sample or something. No matter what I WILL get my coco!

General hydroponics cocotek 10kt brick is pretty cheap. Fills about a 10 gallon Rubbermaid when rehydrated. Its what I used my last grow.
I checked on Amazon and that is a hell of a deal Smoke. Especially since I'm using GH nutes already. Thanks for the advice again man.

Day 9: I will transplant all of the babes tomorrow or the next day into some sort of container. 1 gallon or less if I can find one in my surplus of pots. I really wanted to transplant directly into their final containers but it's just not in the cards atm.

I'm pretty excited for this particular strain since its predominantly indica for my insomnia. But apparently all 3 of these strains are indica dominant. I need a good sativa in my life for work and generally getting shit done.

Can this be the one I'm searching for? She has some sharp thin edges compared to the AK and WR so I am pretty hopeful that she'll be the pheno I'm looking for.

Some nice fat leaves on this lil one. They're coming along for the most part. And I am digging this coco. It's very similar to soil but needs some more attention when it comes to feeding so it keeps me on my toes which I love. I get bored and a bit grumpy easily and these plants keep me in a Zen sort of state when I tend to them.

So adorable, they look happy DD! Glad to see your enjoying your garden as much as your plants are :cheesygrinsmiley:

Keep it up :thumb:

That Zen state is how Naturalist and hippies are made lol looks great btw

Day 10:
I ended up transplanting all 3 plants tonight into whatever size pot that wasn't too big or small. Unfortunately all my 1 gallon pots were preoccupado so I made due with what I had.

This little babe needed a transplant in order to keep it from falling over, or a stake but I figured it was time to let the roots stretch.

This one has 3 brown spots on the first set of leaves that I'm a little worried about but not too concerned. They all look good to me and had some nice healthy roots when I transplanted them. Any advice, comments or questions are always welcome. Happy growing everyone!

Wait for someone more experienced to weigh in but maybe time for a little cal mag ?

I know coco requires you to feed it everything, also the standard check under the leaves for any unwanted guests, but my guess is cal mag!
