Did the Kit soil Prep yesterday and took a few pictures of the process
for anyone who would like to see how I did it.
BTW Since I am using a Local water source I figured I would also
post some details about that as well. Cool thing is its only 0.5 Miles
and 1 Stop sign Door to Door (1 mile round trip). Cost is 37.00 for 150 Gal.
if you pay in advance or .30 gal otherwise. Don’t need to pick it all up
at once as they give you a running total card that is updated when picking
up more water (I get 25 gals at a time) and put into my indoor storage barrel.
Has air stone in barrel to help with oxygenation
Mixed ½ 3.8cf bale of Pro-Mix HP w/Mycorrhizae and 15 to 20 lbs of EWC (No K)
In Bath Tub and then added 2 Gal of Water that tested out at 2 PPM and 6.9 PH.
Checked my PH Meter calibration and as you can see its off by MINUS 0.3 PH, did not
feel like re-calibrating it since I don't use it much anymore so just added the 0.3 (low reading)
to the water reading of 6.6 and came up with A READING of 6.9
This picture shows my hand after sticking it into the Bin and grabbing a handful
of soil and shock off as much as I could
Also moved the Bin inside my grow room Down Stairs, off the floor sitting
between (top of seats) two ladder back chairs. Just check the temp and only
73f so will keep watching, Expecting it to go up from there, Last time it reached
High 70s to low 80s (81f)
