I got a notification, and this is one I have not updated since the switch. However I have had three (one of them twice today) that stopped sending notifications. I didn't mention it because Rob said he had other priorities and didn't want to hear anymore about it until later.

OK - so have you done any tweaking since the migration re email notifications settings?
 
I did the unwatch/watch thing for now on the current ones that stopped sending notifications.

The brand new forums and gallery thread

Those four actually stopped sending me notifications.

I was watching the COB and brand new gallery threads until 3 am and when I woke up no emails, yet in my watched threads it showed there were current post. Along with the other 2
 
Yeah - that’s why we were using it. Turns out Gazoo is one of the few people i’ve Found who lost email notifications with the switch over and hasn’t;t made Ing attempts to fix that problem since then. The admin/devs need ‘clean’ accounts to investigate to see if they can diagnose the problem.
(So he did get an email for it BTW, so probably doens’t tell them much ;) )

If you know anyone who fits that bill - pls ask them to get in touch with Rob / 420

I had some interesting moments in composition today that'd never happened. Left me with a couple "Oh shit!" moments followed by some mad-paced editing. Lol!

I figured there was some fun going on in the back room, so I stayed quiet.
 
Weird I got this notification as well. Amd I have not been in this journal since before new site

This is exactly what's still happening to me. I haven't fiddled with ANY settings post-change. I've been reluctant to delete email notifications because when they stop coming, I use the old one to navigate back to the respective threads to find there are several posts since I was last there and I received no notifications.

Hey Govrenmentchz - do you mind being a test case for the site admins on this then? It would just involve me copying that message into a pr. conversation with Rob and Marc so they can look at your account and check backend setting etc. You won’t have to do much except answer a question or 2 here n there and report back about notifications when they test. May I?

Well, they still let me post, so I guess all those pr0n cookies weren't the culprit?

edit: I got a few emails notifications today, but nothing for Duggan's thread. I clicked a link to it I got a few days ago to find 2 pages had been posted without notification. Hit or miss at best I'd say.

Thanks G'mentchz - they have a few accounts to look at now I think. But yes 'hit and miss' is part of the problem they're chasing.

If anyone else drops in here and has something to add about the email notifications, please get in contact with me or post it over in the Brand New Forums & Gallery thread.

Hopefully we can stop posting in here and let this thread can go back to sleep now :thumb:
