DocBud - New Room - Super Soil - Etc

Re: DocBud - New Room - Super Soil - Etc.

Doc, That SJ looks well lets just say POTM! :) NICE WORK!
I love the geometry of that cheese, can't wait to see what she looks like when she grows up lol.
As always just beautiflul!
:peace:

Re: DocBud - New Room - Super Soil - Etc.

Doc, Very nice plants as usual.

I hope my Querkles fill out like those SJ's. I have two Q's recently sprouted along with a Pyramid Tutankhamen (AK47) and a Sweet Seeds Cream Carmel. And Kannabia Aphrodite (freebie). Querkles are regs. If I get males I will let them pollinate the others.

Using OC+ of course. Any advice for the Querkles? They get bushy or tall and thin? Flowering time?

My querkles stretched in a kinda funny way, and then needed all kinds of support for the buds. The smell was just wonderful.....best smelling weed of the fruity sort.

You'll knock 'em out. Low temps towards the end for color.

Re: DocBud - New Room - Super Soil - Etc.

Doc,

I sprouted 2 Q's and one has long thin leaves and the other has short fat and darker leaves.

There can be different pheno's....

This Indica dominant hybrid has a great taste and out of a 5 plant test run all 4 females turned a nice shade of purple with warm temps throughout. Our goal was to recreate the nice grape flavor but ad some speed to the slow Urkle mom and the results are better than we expected and finding 2 keeper moms from the very small test run we did. Results from the field verify mild variation, good yields and fantastic flavor and colors. This hybrid has been featured in both Skunk and Hightimes magazine.

1) Phenotypes —Two main females one Short and very purple with grape flavors, the variation is a slightly more SQ dom with a taller frame and more sativa buzz.
2) Height- Short and dence does well un topped but faster than Urkle.
3) Yield-Medium to heavy if extended veg time is given mainly due to bud density.
4) Indoor has only been tested so far
5) Best way to grow-Vegged to a large bush Or untopped in scrog.
6) Harvest Window-8 weeks
7) Sativa/Indica 20/80
8) Hybrid- Urkle x Space Queen
9) High type- Indica head and grape taste make it total all day headstash.
10) Smells: Grapes, fruit, berries, musty
11) One of my favorite things to smoke out of a clean bong the flavor is just amazing and IMO better than Mom.

Mine did not "remain short," as it says on the website. But that taste and smell were right on.

Re: DocBud - New Room - Super Soil - Etc.

doc, question, does it make any difference what color the material is on a greenhouse, like u'res? i found one that i like, but it's green. not white, like u'rs. it is a 'green' house! also, r those space jill's available? seed form? those r turning out very nice. also, while i got u hijacked,ha,those seeds u got from spees probably got hit by gamma rays instead of x-rays. border patrol uses gamma only sometimes & it's destroyed electronic equipment & music cd's & agricultural seeds (imported). it leaves the seed hulls empty.

I dunno....I've never had those problems with other seeds I've ordered.
The whole transaction was messed up. I won't go into the details here, but lets just say that I've quite satisfied doing business with some of the other sponsors of this site.....just not Cees.

When it comes to greenhouse material, you want to avoid hotspots, you want some insulation, and you want more than 70% of the light to come through, but not necessarily 100%. The Solex stuff works really well.

Re: DocBud - New Room - Super Soil - Etc.

yeah, w/triple digit heat, i sure don't want 100% sunlite. i burned up 6 really nice plants this summer. i put a shadecloth over them, but i was too late. it's always something when u grow outside. oh well, back to the indoor grows till next season. thanks

Re: DocBud - New Room - Super Soil - Etc.

Doc, have you ever seen a plant with a flat wide branch that is sort of fimming itself? She is an Kannabia Aphrodite. It is the strangest plant I have grown.
The first few branches have split in two from the stem all by it self and the flat branch is like it is fimming by it self. And the first 5 nodes were alternating from the start, then it started the normal 2 opposite node growth!
I had to trim a lot of branches off to open her up a little.

Notice the two branches coming from the stem. It had only one fan leaf at each double branch.

Re: DocBud - New Room - Super Soil - Etc.

Well GA

She is doing fine. And she is way ahead of one other Querkles started at the same time. Similar to our last grow. Some seeds we wrote off for dead survived, now we have plants 2 weeks apart in the same grow room. We survived OK the last grow like that and I hope all turns OK this one. I hope to start a journal soon.
Aphrodite 7 wks, 1 Querkle 6 wks and one 5 wks, One Tutankhamen(AK47) died and one more started is 5 wks and 1 Cream Carmel 5 wks

She was soooo thick with lower and inner branching we had to thin her out a bit. OC+ at work

You can see the Querkle in the bucket on the left is barely 4 inches high.

Re: DocBud - New Room - Super Soil - Etc.

Space Jill: Her final photo's before chop....

If I let a couple go another week, I probably wouldn't have to trim. The buds swelled up so much they swallowed many sugar leaves. I'm not going to trim the sugar leaves....one look with a magnifying glass and even the most uninformed stoner would understand.....

Wille Nelson is starting to bud a bit faster now......I watch this plant like a hawk....lookin for boy bits.....this is the ONLY female out of 5 seeds.

The purple paki.....(Barbara Kush) is a fantastic plant. Super cool leaves...11 blades on fan leaves and the plants are just over 2 feet tall. It looks exotic and foreign.

Jack Herer.....mostly in FFOF and OC+. I do have 1 in supersoil, and two more that were tossed in supersoil without acclimation. They're not doing too well.....I just wanted to see what kind of abuse they could take and what the outcome was like.

Re: DocBud - New Room - Super Soil - Etc.

That Space Jill is amazing... If you enter her in the POTM contest you'll have my vote! Simply amazing! :thumb:

Re: DocBud - New Room - Super Soil - Etc.

I don't even know how to enter it.....don't care one way or the other....but I do appreciate the comments!

:Namaste:

Yeah... I was waiting for you to say something like that! :) The praise is well deserved! :thumb:

If you ever decide to enter for kicks, just click the link in my signature, then go to Plant of the Month Contest for that month. You have through the 15th of the month or until there are 25 entries, which ever comes first. Just post up to two pics of your entry with a description and sit back and wait.

I'd enter her for you, but it's self nominations only. I've got a bonsai in there this month but I'm getting spanked at the moment!

I have a question, maybe for one of the mods... What happened to your rep points? I know you probably don't care Doc, but for the sake of the other growers reading your posts I'd like to see your reputation back where it was before last month.

I dunno.....

I got the munchies and ate them........ :MoreNutes:

Re: DocBud - New Room - Super Soil - Etc.

Well, shit....how do I enter it? And which one?

Ha ha! You'll have to wait for October's contest, but then you can enter which ever plant you think looks the dankest! Or, I suppose if you can't decide, you could post the pics you are considering in your journal for feedback first. Every pic I've seen you post looks nasty, I think any one could take first prize!

Huh....I hadn' noticed the rep points.....where did they go?

I dunno.....

They went away after last months shenanigans with you and Krip, when you came back they were gone.
