Hey Doc, long time sir. I have a question about the the pic labeled number 1but pic 3 in the order, the curled leaf near the bottom. Is the this type of curl the result of stress or deficiency at the time of occurrence? I see a lot of photos with similar curl and I am always curious to know if I’m diagnosing the plant correctly.

Hi all...when should I start my Cat drenches? I am 16 days into flower now. Pics from tonight. Last had just water and tea. Before that was a GE and tea.

Hi there LG, can I ask a couple Question. It’s been a few months since I’ve been on so I don’t want to jump to conclusions here.

You said the you last fed water and tea, correct? Can I ask when this became a thing? If you fed water and and GE your next feeding would have been straight water, water and maybe 1/4 TP added to both and then feed you CD.
Please correct me if I am incorrect and things have changed. Also it looks as tho your buds are just setting. I think in some experiences a wk 4 CD was producing better results for HB growers. At day 16 you next You may want one more water before the CD for optimal results. But it’s been 6 months since I’ve grown, so what the ef do I know lol ‍

Brix is a sign of health. Higher brix=better health. Brix over 12 means no pests and no spraying for pests.

Saying you want more buds but aren't concerned about higher quality is what you're saying, even though you probably don't realize it.

As of right now, there is still a market for big, red, tasteless apples. The government buys them for schools, prisons and the military. But you would never choose one of those chalky apples if you've tasted a really nice high brix apple.

Same with carrots.

Prohibition has created some really bizarre practices for growers. Yield becomes the most important fact, because even low grade cannabis can be sold for profit. The higher the yield per plant, the more money you make. I get that.

We saw this during prohibition with alcohol. Many folks were distilling their own booze at home or in the barn or woods. It definitely got people drunk. Many people made fortunes on illegal booze but the quality would not be tolerated today.

When pot prohibition is lifted, hydroponics won't be very popular, and what we consider decent weed today won't be served anywhere. I'm planning on making my living as a legal grower of ultra high quality cannabis. I don't care about plant yield, although mine is quite good. I demand quality, and so will everybody in the near future.

Sorry I know this is an old post but I agree 100 percent. Of course I do want a good yield but Im much more interested quality. Once the quality is there THEN ill try getting more out of them. Very interested in your blend though doc. Will definitely be giving it a go soon.

That's a plant the day it was harvested. It's old, tired and has given its best.....so the leaves aren't all 100% perfect, especially the fans. The "taco" or curling you're noticing is because the plant is blooming faster than the container can supply nutrition, so there's magnesium demand.

not a deficiency....just exceeding the recommended speed limit.

Hey Mag! I think the tea with water was a mistake by LG, hopefully Doc will confirm.

LG, with the straight waters, no tea is added, you can add 1/4 the regular dose of transplant but no tea.

If you're set on "tinkering" with my gear, I'm not going to sell it to you. Use it correctly until you really know what you're doing, then tinker.

There's nothing out there that works as well or does what High Brix does.....but for some reason people don't like following directions.

Nooo you misunderstand my friend. When I said tinker I meant in the sense of I wanna go ahead and do the test for myself. Thats what I meant. Why would I wanna mess with something as intricate and well balanced as your high brix blend

Yes. Before it was cut off and now it looks more complete which is why I thought it was all good. Maybe the mods need a heads up. Maybe you have too many titles to fit, ha! Either way, you the man!
