Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

Thanks duggs, about when should I start the foliars and Drenches. Is it when they get 4 or 5 sets of leaves?

Yup! Remember they are only small, so go lightly with them , especially the first couple Drenches, Ok, by Drenches , i don't mean water only drinks, just the first couple Drenches with Transplt., and GE. I can tell you , my plants get very little 'liquids' from the kit while they are in the one's,...and when they go into their 'finals'..the first 'Drench' is ALWAYS a Transplant one OK. Don't think of us feeding our plants, cuz we're not. We are feeding and encouraging the micro heard to flourish ...when they are happy eating 'rocks' and fish guts, they poop out lots of goodies for the plants. They work well together!:thumb:..Cheers Buck, Doc and gang!

Hey Doc

when you get a website up and running will it be strictly High Brix products or will you be carrying other grow products like a 6/5/3 mineral mix or any other sort of products or grow items you have had good luck with over the years?

That's the only part I have down, is mixing. Just mixed another barrel of soil. Haven't used much of 1st yet, waiting on plants to get a little bigger and for results of sex test that I sent off. Don't want to waste anything on males lol.

lol mix master. Plenty of goodies in that soil...no need for anything other than water right now.

Getting ready to Up Pot and was thinking of these Molded Fiber Containers from Westernpulp

Anyone have any insight into weather these are OK to use ?

These are Biodegradable and made with 72% recycled paper.
The recycled paper is my concern, Don't they use a lot of chemicals when
they make paper ? curious if anything may leach out into my soil ?

From the FAQ
What are they actually made of? Are they inert as to be able to use them for aquatics?
A
The Western Pulp Round Pots are made with recycled paper, each container is infused with ingredients from the earth, including Field Straw, Natural Bark, and Fresh Basil. We would advise against using the pots in aquatic applications as they will degrade at an accelerated rate.

EDIT:
HOLY CRAP Just read this, Looks like these are out
concerns with using cardboard/newspaper as a mulch

Good question Gazoo. I read just yesterday how the paper business uses some of the nastiest chemicals that may consistently come into contact with human skin. Chemicals to whiten and soften are harsh and toxic. I can't answer your question, but I would be VERY leery to use them in anything consumable without further reassurance.
