Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

I might seem like a broken record but do you see how alive those plants are?!?!? And thirsty? Yip, thats the perfect time to water and or feed your plants. In person they look spectacular! Today is Friday, so by Sunday, they'll be exploding with life and vigor. I haven't checked the roots yet, ill do that tonight, but the growth has slowed some and im I'm pretty sure they're ready for bigger pots. Take note all you new kit users :)

Perfect plants or fake plants. :hmmmm: It's a tough call. A lot of kit users will cheat like this and post fake plants, but I can tell the difference.

When they need dunked every single day is when I prefer to transplant. They get really thick, strong stems that way.

Sure do Doc. I just checked the roots and they probably have another 2 weeks in these 2 gallon pots. All 4 of them are OGs, although not listed in their names. I did research and they definitely are. I didn't get any Way Ahead in this kit but ive always done well without it. I might give the bloodmeal a go with one of them just to see what happens. They started with a N excess but thats worked out possibly because of the heavy tea (and I think it was energy) feeding a couple of weeks ago.

OK, just ordered Docs kit! I'm pretty excited to get my hands on it. I have a very special lady that I think will do well in this kit. I've been doing the same thing for 20-plus years with great results but I feel like it's time for something new. Right on Doc!! God bless.

Not much exciting going on lately. Should get more plants in bloom soon.

I pretty much destroyed a generation of vegging plants with an experiment a few weeks ago.

That's the price of dealing with a mad forward thinking extreme growing scientist....who loves ya baby.....don't go changing ....!

Doc, i need to ask what you were doing ,...and why did it fail? The survivors need no words , so....:)

I'm trying out various washing methods prior to bloom and I got the bright idea to dip the plants in a large bucket full of the wash, instead of spraying them.

Well, they died or were horribly disfigured. Lost a whole tray's worth of otherwise gorgeous plants ready to bloom. Thankfully, I had a few extra's...runts and assymetrical plants that I normally would cull, but could fill in in a pinch.

Free advice to anyone listening: don't dip your plants in horticultural oil solutions. The stuff rises to the top and coats the leaves as the plant is pulled. They look AWESOME for a couple days and then die super fast. I think the stomata are clogged.

Spraying works way better!

I'll share more when I feel I have it all figured out, but I'm spraying Tea one day, Wayahead 10x and Dextrose the next day, and finishing off with a very heavy spraying of Leaf Wash.

The Tea and Leaf Wash deal with any sort of mold, rot, rust, bug, or residue or any kind on the leaves. Photosynthesis goes up a bit in bloom, especially due to the WayAhead spraying.

All in the way of research and development....rock on Doc.....:thumb:

I dunno Doc, that kinda looks like the pinnacle to me...just sayin :)

If this grow goes good which I'm positive it will, expect some big orders coming your way Doc from the crew. Its about 25 of us...so get ready!!

As far as I recall, this wouldn't be Doc's first rodeo. :cheesygrinsmiley:

The method really works best in volume - both in cost and soil health. :thumb:
