Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

some of those just have the "fade" which my Blue Dream also had years ago when I grew it.

Others are crispy. Crispy is not normal.

Next grow, let's go through step by step and figure out what's going on. Mine don't do that.

I look forward to this as well.

Major, I recently put Budzilla and Chocolope Kush into flower. I gave them a Rescue Drench right when they got flipped and so far they are the healthiest plants I have ever had in flower. Over time my leaves also go from that nice, soft feeling to a more rigid feeling. Hard to explain. I have some vegging plants that are that way that just got Rescue Drenched. We will see how that goes. I get some funky spots on the leaves.

HSO blue dream from seed in docs soil 11/13......she went 9weeks I believe, could have let her go another week.....

Gaffle.....r u in HB soil? they tend to go longer than advertised......:passitleft:

HB is affirmative. Sitting in 10gallon smart pots so plenty of room for shoes. I will flip on Monday.

I have seeds chilling so after this run I hope to do a Zigs 11/13. I'm so ahead of myself! I have not used up all of my space yet I feel like I'm already running out of space!

I would be down for a hardcore group grow with Doc. I don't have a problem with the kit, I just wish there was more info for individual grows. My situation does not call for large quantities of kit products so for my feeding schedule I am relying on what others are doing.

BTW, I was using a kickass blog here with a ton of DBHB goodness, but all of a sudden I cannot access that particular blog. Asks for user name and password to log into "420 productions" which mine do not work. Anyone know what's going down?

Ask a mod about the issue. There have been a few bugs here and there I'm told.

Hey Gaffle... I'd like to invite you to check out my journal if you like. It's a single plant grow in Doc's kit. I just flipped to flower a few days ago. This is my first time using the kit, so I ask a lot of questions there and get great support from the gang. Feel free to post questions/pics there about your own grow. My back yard is open to anyone. What ever I can do to help.

:Namaste:

My HSO Blue Dream went 9 weeks.

Think there's any benefit to flushing before harv?

I don't really think so. I just try to make sure there isn't much magnesium left anywhere, so I don't give Epsom's (or WA10x) the last week or two.

My next round will be my 4th high brix run (3rd run soil) and this last round was my best. They've all given me fantastic produce, but this last round my main plants made it all the way to the end without the leaves getting too gnarly. I changed a couple things with good results, but I'm still questing to have the plants finishing more lush, so I'm down for the commune.

All my HB stuff has been incredible, just wanted to see how flushing would effect taste on a strain I've done before.. I also did not wash some buds this time to see if that will have any effect.

I think I spray the foliars too heavy and that has been part of my problem with burnt leaves. I can't imagine smoking the buds from my harvests w/o washing. So much crap comes off in the buckets, it has to help the flavor. I don't want to smoke fish guts if I can avoid it. I'll be very interested to hear the results of your taste test.
:goodluck:

One bale of pro-mix is how much? I picked up 2 bundles and it reads 2.2 cu ft / 30lbs per bag

That is the "big box" store version. The size you want is 3.8 cu-ft and 60 lbs. You need 1-3/4 of those small bales for a full kit.

Mixed 2 of the 30lbs bags plus 20lbs worm castings already hope I'm not in to much trouble

:thumb: Perfect! Two is fine. I'm just OCD with measurements.

Went to a Detby party last weekend. Not that the DBHB Blue KUSH there, was any where's near your guy's, it was still a huge hit, especially with the old timers.

this grow has been the stickiest, smelliest, tastiest, potent-est,,,,,

it's an enjoyable chore to break up one of these sticky buds.
the stuff never leaves your fingers.

and this is the first time I actually got a good buzz using the vaporizer.

govt, what is the reasoning youre limiting the Mg towards the end of the grow...lush needs Mg for green in Green :).
