Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

The basic instructions are not "rules." They are designed to:

1. Grow fantastic plants
2. Allow the gardener to learn how the components work

Experimentation and individuality is expected and encouraged, but I always like to convince folks to just try it out a few cycles and learn what the gear does. It's easier to figure stuff out when you know what a product will do.

Yeah, i get it and I'm not complaining. But, i thought Maxs guide was pretty good, i thought it was generally accepted, and i was using that as guide. But, seeing some other ways of skinning the cat isn't a problem. I like it, gives me flexibility.

I'm not going to change much. I just got done trimmming over 5z from one plant, those were all nugs, and there's at least 40 or so grams of popcorn. So, 200 or so grams of top notch bud,,, and it was my first run with that strain so I'm sure I'll get better.

Anyway, no worries from me. I never read and followed, " the directions" from the start. I've been freestyling since i started to some degree. That's no secret.

Thanks for the info folks!!

You got me!

If you can grow or finish some of the buds in an enclosed, a microclimate, from the rest of the plant.-something like the Cone of Silence.

Maybe manipulating the buds so just they are exposed to lower temps at the end of bloom will promote more lower temp terps to be maintained during the final days of the plants life and harvest.

More like a bag of holding

If you were able to pull 5oz form 1 plant then id say you got a good handle on things. The pictures you posted the other day looked great

Yeah, I'm progressing. :) Thing is when i started docs kit last summer i had, around fifty plants going on 5 or 6 different lines/methods. I made and cooked a lot of soil last winter that wasn't docs kit. I brewed a ton of tea, well gallons, so really I started, just winging it and now, I'm more freestyle ;) there's skill to freestyle ;) when i was winging it i was relying strictly on what i read.

I love the kit, love that doc brings what he brings to the kit, his own experience. And then the growers who now use it and share their experience.

I'd like to just sit there a while and smell that room Doc. They look beautiful... as always

I do that a lot. After i get done watering, pruning, spraying and all that, I usually sample a few buds or roll a sugar leaf joint and smoke it.

Then I "regarden" which means I go around admiring the plants and seeing this or that, discovering a new insect or something. Mostly it's just a stoner wasting time in the garden, but occasionally I learn something new or do something really stupid!

I feel like Odysseus and the Sirens every time I go near them :)

Yup, I've been following along on that development. I'm getting ready to move four plants from 3g to final home of 7s, and then flower. I was thinking I'll add some then. How much do you suggest based on that info. Thanks folks

Heheh, this pic caught my eye (well ... this pic especially ... ). Dunno ... like litter mates or doves or something, no?
