Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

I use a pot one size bigger than the one I'm dunking. Very little waste and you can dunk it to 50%, 75%, or 100% of the height, if you want.

Sounds great too. I'll check this weekend for a pot with no holes in it. Or, line it with a clear plastic bag... lol Best of both worlds

That's what I do: put a trash bag inside the bigger pot. If you are gentle, they last a long time. Once they leak, they get used as ... trash bags. I also have small containers w/o holes that fit 1 gal pots well.

just some hibrix nuggetry, strain is lemon garlic OG from humboldt seeds.

Beautiful. :thumb: :bravo:

But i have to ask, at 52 days (post flip - how many days till she started flowering?) and having just done the cats and GE, when are you using recharge? Or did you?

I left 3" of pot open in the 10 gallons and topdressed with 2" of soil With the recharge mixed in to it evenly. That went into the pots day 14. Then cat drench was at day 19.

Graytail suggested a second cat on the Agent Orange and I thought "why not?" She still had 20ish days to go at the time and agent orange is supposed to really bulk up the last few weeks so I thought it really made sense.

Wow, i must have an old version of the kit instructions. That's interesting, what I'm following has the recharge after the cats, towards the end. I'm curious the route your following as I'm still learning myself. I just put recharge down on a plant in late bloom, like week 6-7 of a plant i think won't go longer then 10. Very interesting. Look great, maybe I'm adjusting things next run.....

I'm using Max Yields sample feeding schedule from the link below. From , "Entire process" part towards the end of that link. Will someone let me know if that's still a guide? :Namaste:

As a follow up,,,, I've always thought that schedule that Max put together leaned towards sativa dom plants,,, is that fair to say?

Yeah guess I was a week early in the recharge. I had it in my head that the minerals needed a week or so to start being available and I wanted to have enough nutrients in the soil for the cat drench time. So my mind erased the instructions in my memory and replaced them with 2 weeks. I didn't realize it was 3 until I read them just now. But seeing how it worked for me I think I will keep that mistake in my protocol.

Yeah, thanks Ziggy, i see there where it says recharge is after 3rd week. Is max's schedule wrong, I've been using that since day one....

your plants look great!! :bravo:

I havent killed a plant using the kit and its ingredients VERY differently than the instructions state..
I did different results and interpretations of this amazing kit and plant, with amazing buds :)

The basic instructions are not "rules." They are designed to:

1. Grow fantastic plants
2. Allow the gardener to learn how the components work

Experimentation and individuality is expected and encouraged, but I always like to convince folks to just try it out a few cycles and learn what the gear does. It's easier to figure stuff out when you know what a product will do.

Good day Doc , Gang, and those we can't see. The "Kit" as we like to say can be used in as many different ways as there are members , here. Ingredients are very forgiving and hard to abuse , as Ziggs would testify...:high-five: His experiments with it are right here for all to see. I'm still fixed on perfection using the original set of instructions...the one's before adding Transplant at 1/4 strength between Drenches. I like the idea of giving just water between these Drenches to keep things from building up too much in the soil. Don't forget everyone, the Kit was designed for soil , outside, not for containers where things can ,and do build up over time. We have been (some) testing , and figuring out the best ways to use the ingredients over the last 3,1/2 yrs. or so and we are all producing some of the strongest , cleanest and smoothest weed we've ever had, period. We're all quite spoiled, i'de say! Puffing my DBHBB produce in my vape has me completely ruined.....thanks Doc!:blunt:
