Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

Hey guys. So my first grow with the kit is almost over, remaining plants will be cut down within 2 weeks. So, I think my only problem was that maybe I wasn't feeding enough. I wasn't able to keep my leaves that nice shiny green all the way through flowering, which is probably normal but I see some of you are able to do it, doc for example. So, this round I'm gonna try some stuff different. Going to go with half strength brix sprays every 7 days and I'm going to feed some of the plants a little harder, see how it goes!

I was able to use brix and GE both once per week at full strength in 7 gal pots. I know itdepends on the strain, but I had Indica and Sativa dominant plants that both liked it just fine.

A super drench or two might do the trick.

Try the same sized plant in bigger pots too. ;)
^^^ This is the best advice.

will give a super drench a try next time. They didn't really start yellowing up until a week or so ago, so over half way through. I was thinking they were maybe just a lil' too big for their pots but I dunno, they aren't that large of plants.

edit:

what should I do to soil that has been below the 60 degree mark? It's been on a cold cement slab

Great info and very excited. Would like to get a kit- new to the site. How do I send private message as new user to request a kit? Sorry if a lame question, but the site doesn't seem to be to clear on messaging (or maybe it's because I am new and have no posts?). Any help is appreciated. Can't wait to try something new (high brix)

Much mahalos.

Warm it up! Get it off the slab and into someplace warm.

Please check your PM's. I think you need 50 posts in order to send a PM, but I'm pretty sure you can read one sent to you without.

Re: Thanks for making it easy...

can i ask what you use to take those pictures sir?

A Canon Rebel T3i with the stock 18-135mm lens zoomed in all the way. The lighting is Mars Hydro LEDs and I adjusted my white balance to get the colors right. It helps that I spent two summers behind this camera taking photos of active kids, so now taking pictures of beautiful buds that hold still and don't change their expressions the moment before the shutter is pressed makes my job easy.
