Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

I invested $15 in a Flairosol. Should have done that in the beginning. I mixed up a mere 1 oz and tossed it into this 10 oz sprayer and was amazed with the ease of operation, no matter the direction, and the fine, fine mist I was able to shoot right up into tight spaces.

I believe this sprayer was recommended a while back on these very pages. I should have paid closer attention then. Highly recommended.

These are nifty for small plants and veg, I was pretty stoked. Until stretch started. I had to get something infinitely more beastly. Its a 2 gal pump sprayer that ryhmes with poundup. :D

I still use the shit out of my lil flairosols for babies and cuttings. They are surprisingly durable, and if you mess them up (some people can get fubarred by air bubbles or vacuum confusions) fixable!

Sue I like your opaque container, mine came with clear. I have to take care to keep them clean and dry or in a dark spot to not grow algae (so far so good cuz i'm ocd about shit like that).

I'll remember your caution about when they stretch. I may be able to get away with just this since I'll only have two big plants at a time normally, but thanks for the heads up. I'm hoping cleaning directly after use will keep it working smoothly.

It is nice to have the right tool for the job.
I started with a little perfume bottle to mist the babies. It held one ounce of liquid but worked great. Then I moved to a two pint spray bottle. Now I'm using the two gallon pump sprayer as well and it still takes a fair amount of time to spray just two plants. Once these babies get over 7 feet it will probably take 1/2 an hour.

A quick shot just after lights out. 1st run DBHBB also first grow ever. I'm told this is Jack Herer three and a half weeks after flip and just got first cat drench a day ago.
Thanks Doc!

Seriously Doc thank you! I'm a lazy stoner and if I can follow directions (at least well enough) anyone else can too. This kit is like magic. Easy as pie. (The journals here on 420mag by the high brix gang are a wealth of knowledge. The truth is I spend more time watching all of the plants here more than my own.)

Now that's high brix!!! Keep following the directions until you know the system Sep, then you can start playing around with the drenches...have patience :)
Ok, you guys see that beautiful plant right? Thats first round soil. Just wait until the 3rd round! Youll start getting heavy resin in less than 2 weeks...it's a beautiful thing, lemme tell ya! :)

Re: Flush the pot, the harvest is near...

Doc and friends,
How long before harvest should i stop using drenches and foilar sprays? Or do I keep using them to the end?

According to Graytail, keep on keepin' on.
I asked him the same thing in his journal. He said he uses both foliars right to the end.

I believe my second kit is coming soon.... Thanks Doc! Now I have to get some pro mix and EWC....... :)

It's on the way! Also included is the super secret PM/Mite foliar regimen. Don't tell anyone.

I'm going to give it a try on my plants in the next week and make sure it doesn't kill that many before I have it for general use, but if it works as well as advertised by the lab, I've got something very, very cool for folks who battle PM or insects. 100% natural and safe, of course.

Basically, we change the pH of the leaf, introduce massive amounts of beneficials, and follow up with Leaf Wash. It's a 4 day regimen that will get rid of PM and mites at the same time.

Oh, here are some update shots. Grape STomper 2 weeks from harvest. Lemon Paki mid-bloom, looking strong. Colombian just 2 days in the bloom room.
