Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

I just got my Kits today, Thanks Doc.

I just took clones two days ago using rooter plugs and dome method, added clonex...etc I have never had a clone failure yet but was wondering if there was anything in the kit I could use to help these guys get going healthier? A fine misting of..? Anyway I am excited to get this kit cooking and moving along :)

Congratulations on starting with the Kit xtrchessreal. I'm so excited for you. :slide: :laughtwo: I know you don't have a journal, so please, feel free to share on my journal, if you'd like. I'm sure that offer stands for most all of the HB growers. Doing a little happy dance and giggling here. WooHoo!!!

zackly sue! :)

congrats on your Auto harvest I'm sure you will love it..

Putting the post together now Ziggy. I so love harvesting. :laughtwo:

I copy/pasted this from link in doc's sig for directions

"De-Stress: This product helps plants heal, deal with stress and provides a broad spectrum of trace minerals. This can be sprayed 1-2 times per week when there are signs of plant stress. If the plants look "perfect" there is no reason to spray with De-stress

Also, mixed at 50% strength it helps high brix clones root much faster.
I read it as they need to be taken from a High Brix mother

Both foliar sprays are mixed at 1oz per quart of RO. Use Brix immediately after mixing. De-stress can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week."

Good luck
:Namaste:

If anyone is interested I just put my High Brix into flower
Today will be the first 12 hours of darkness

The new DeStress formula calls for 1/2 oz per quart. It's only now being shipped out, so don't worry if you haven't bought DeStress for a couple weeks. I've yet to edit the labels, because I have some more work to do on them and I have no time.

But for now, all new DeSTress is mixed at 1/2 oz per quart. I include this information with new shipments.

Microbe Organics

Hey Doc and friends! Long time no post.
I ran across this link the other day. I think all you soil geeks will dig what this guy is doing. Lots of good science and data. Makes me want to go buy a microscope. :)

Yes MicrobeMan is a wonder. That site is chock full of wonder.

Transplanted my babies from their starter pots today into 1 gals. The roots looked fantastic! They've only been in those pots a week! Seems like my cotton candy and sour kosher like the soil the most, so far. I didn't score the roots on this transplant, hope that's ok. I watered them in with a lil' transplant water and a half mixing of destress.

I'm mixing two kits today in one large 110 gal container. My plan is to mix it dry first then add the water and mix a little more to make sure water is throughout the entire soil. Doc, I know I'm over thinking this but does this sound like a good approach? I don't know if the Amendment has more mass than the other ingredients. Is there a chance the amendment will sink to the bottom as I mix the dry ingredients?
Thanks

I just wanted to acknowledge I have these NEW instructions in my kit just like you said. Note: I'm keeping your note as a note of it...noted I'm watching too much Big Bang Theory

When I picked up the EWC I assumed it was 1-1-0 but it is 1-0-0. How important or detrimental is this to the kit. I have not mixed it yet, I will see if I can find another store that has a 1-1-0 version. But if I can't what other material could I add in its stead? I'm doing two kits at once so an amount in either one or two kit size answer would be good to know. Thanks in advance :)

You're fine with both your mixing method and your EWC. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Mix 'er up! :thumb:

Thanks for stepping in Graytail. I don't think you could have a POTM, POTY, and NOTM and not be certain of that. I am on my way back to mixing :)
Thanks
