Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

re: Doc Bud - High Brix Q&A With Pictures

I concur and would like to give you guys a smoke report on lemon paki.

MMMMM. It is long over due and feel docbud would appreciate me to give my honest opinion on his brix grown herbs.

At first glance the lemon paki almost looks yellow with very little green until you break it open to find the lime green sugar coated leaves.

The smell from her is like nothing i have ever smelled before, I mean this plant was excreting an odor that was mouth watering and if you squeeze it the air fills with a peppery citrus aroma. The flavor is out of this world and the smoothness is untouched.

I would have to say this is hands down the best herb I have ever seen or smoked and the effect is amazing. Almost feels like a roller coaster drop only my head is not dropping its going to the moon.

great stuff docbud. I reported this after i took out the last little nug i had saved and waked and baked and let me say it has even gotten better with time.

There is no comparison from docs buds to most anyones I have ever seen and its all being made possible from his passion and research and of course the kit.

Thanks again docbud. I am going to try and report the others just been really busy with the fam.

My sincerest thanks! 🙇 You're very, very welcome my friend.

You've got to get up here and get a couple things for your kits. If you can't, let me know and I'll get them in the mail. You'll definitely want this cationic drench.

re: Doc Bud - High Brix Q&A With Pictures

Doc,
Should I continue the Energy drench once I start the foliar spraying? I have been, but can always stop.
The plants are doing well. They are now out in the back 40 and responding well to more light and all the goodies from the kit. Ready to go into the biggest pots which is when I thought I'd do the Recharge. Let me know if that is OK or not.
Thanks as usual for all your help and excellent research. I'm using up the minerals from your original hi brix method on my fruit trees and veggies - plums and apricots galore and very nice, as are all the usual veggies - tomatoes, squash, green beans, carrots, chard, corn, etc.

That's great to hear!

Yes, please continue with the drenches every 2 or 3 weeks. I'd do the recharge 3 weeks after you transplant into the large containers....that's gonna put you right into the thick of bloom, which is a good time to do that.

I'm sure your vegetables are fantastic! And fruit trees love those minerals too....very cool.

Doc, did you ever get THC readings for your Champagne?

re: Doc Bud - High Brix Q&A With Pictures

Hi Doc,

Firstly I would like to say thank you. The information that you have provided has proven invaluable. I really appreciate the amount of time that you have taken to share all that you have. All the kits that I have ordered have arrived promptly and I have been very happy with them so far.

I have two phenos of Silver Pearl, one has a great calyx to leaf ratio and the other is a much more vigorous grower. Is there a way to use the products to boost the calyx to leaf ratio? I was going to follow the kits directions with dosing, doing two drenches, one at 3 weeks one at 5 weeks after pistil formation. I have three cuttings I can experiment on, giving the drench in different doses and at different times. Any suggestions? (I have not used the drench before)

This Blue Dream plant looks like a hermaphrodite. It would be the first one I've seen outside of photos. If so, too bad, because of course is a very vigorous plant. Chime in with opinions, please!

Good question Graytail! I am curious as well.

Not yet guys. I'm so very busy and I'm a couple days behind on a book review....not to mention a busy life outside of the grow room....so no testing yet. I'll be sure to let everyone know when I get around to it.

First time on this thread, is it possible to order a kit from you Doc?

Please PM me!

Follow the recent instructions and you'll be doing what I've been doing. Also, try to follow Curso and Steppenwolf's grows, as they are having some great success as well.

The instructions won't let you down. I don't make them up.....guys with PhD's do. But at the same time, they don't have any experience growing our favorite plants and so we're sort of learning as we go.

Things are definitely evolving, but there are some things we're pretty rigid about, like the soil. Feeding schedules can be experimented with, as can adding differing amounts of worm castings, etc.

The leaf to Calyx ratio can be improved by keeping the soil mineralized properly and keeping soil energy in check. Don't over feed Energy!

re: Doc Bud - High Brix Q&A With Pictures

Thanks Doc,
I have been following the directions so far, only have some tomatoes and peppers flowering in the soil right now and I am loving the results. Like you have said in previous posts, the best results are when you follow the instructions to the letter, so that is what I am doing. I have been lurking in Curso's and Steppenwolfs thread for awhile now. Haven't posted anything, as I have nothing to share, and they already have enough comments on how amazing their plants look, no need to clog up their journal with more. :)

re: Doc Bud - High Brix Q&A With Pictures

Harvested the Herijuana today. I expect somewhere between 10 and 12 oz for both plants total. Very dense, golfball nugs.

There's also some pictures of other stuff growing. Also, you can see the bucket with the produce wash before and after doing a single plant. All that grunge isn't going into me or anyone's lungs.....I highly recommend washing the produce!
