Question for you guys I've been pondering. Say I have access to clones that are not in rootplugs but already in some sort of soil in a solo cup. Does the content of the solo cup ruin our finely planned science experiment with brix?!?! I have generous friends who no doubt grow in fine soil, but it is not our blend. Can I proceed with my first HB journey and just upcan these babies into our soil and no worries? Comments?

Yup, just upcan 'em and they'll be just like any other plant - I've done it several times. In fact, it's fun to watch the roots hit that new HB soil. You can see the blast of vigor within days! :thumb:

Mornin "gang" .....hey Zig, goin "all inclusive" to Negril....fourth time to Jam. fav. place on earth ,other than my G.R.:Love: Love Negril....always visit Rick's Cafe to have a few beers and jump off the cliffs a few times....what a hoot bro! Everyone gathers on the stairs and stuff to watch all the "crazies" jump! No big deal....it's only 40 feet or so.It's like jumping into a big bowl of sugar.That's how it looks from up top! So cool....great weather,great food.....and it's laid back....just what we need at this point. Only goin for a week though ,cuz of the girls. Oh ya ,the girls....they're lookin good after their wicked pruning last night.
Got a Q for Doc on the "Re Charge". Doc, since i'm using a full "kit's" worth of soil for my two girls ,is it ok to use all of the re charge for both plants covered with about an inch or so of EWC's. then watered in?That's what i am planning but i wanted to see what you have to say about it first. If so , then they will get that treatment tonight before they get their drench of G.E. and Tea.

Thats how I do it too Duggan. I count my 7gals as 1 by the book plant and the 15gal as 2 and recharge and stuff accordingly.

2 plants in a full kit, i'm jealous thats gonna be epic. Good stuff man :thumb:

Hey Smokey....Ya ,i just did it as well,seems like alot more minerals and stuff but like Scrubbs said....doesn't really matter ,1 plant or 7!
Vacation is only once a year ,so we really look forward to it.With what we pay to do it "our" way to Jamaica....we could go to ....say Cuba almost three times bro! That's the scope of it. Had alot of bad stress the last few month's so we both need it.
