Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

re: Doc Bud - High Brix Q&A With Pictures

It's been really hard not to go in and mix the soil. I'm on day 17 of mine cooking and I open it and check it every few days, but haven't dug in it. OCD, OCD, OCD, OCD, ...

re: Doc Bud - High Brix Q&A With Pictures

Thanks for the information. But as i mentioned earlier, i could not find a source/distributor here in europe that sells Promix Soil. The only Soil i found acceptable was the BioBizz Light Mix. The ingredients were in my last post. And its also really hard to get the exact ingredients of the soils, that are available here ... Maybe there are any Euro-High-Brix People around?

re: Doc Bud - High Brix Q&A With Pictures

I left mine alone while it cooked :). Lol hard, i know

Hey Canuck....bro, ya eh!...It's best to leave the "cooking" soil alone for the first few weeks at least. If you can, later on after a few runs, you will have the luxury of letting it cook longer ,that's when i start to have fun with it. All the leaves.roots and stems from the current grow ,gets mixed in with a bit of "roots" ,a little more water, cover it ,and leave it alone for another while. After this stuff keeps cookin with all the goodies in it, it's very rich!Curso is on his 6th run right now with recycled soil. Doc calls it rescue soil, after a while it becomes too "rich" to use straight up! Hey bro...i got fu..in tote bins everywhere. Thanks Curs(the chef) for your dedication and persistance with showing some of us how to greatly improve our beloved "kit" soil. Tuning the soil for what grows H.B. in it, is for sure, going down the right road.OK....i'm ramblin, sorry! Cheers guys!:blunt:

I have about 20 gals in the tote and when i clean the girls up i put it in there, a lil roots and some water. When i use it to top the ladies that stuff will be all munched up by the microbe babes and be rich as hell! A lil roots then top the soil off and a lil cat drench and theyll be good for a minute :). Its so easy and i know theyre gonna be bangin out some beautiful flowers :)

I love it when the leaves just disappear in a few days. But I worry the soil is going to get out at night and start stealing stuff....it's alive!

re: Doc Bud - High Brix Q&A With Pictures

what plants require is diffuse reflection (scattered light), mirrors produce specular reflection (doesn't scatter light)

Curs (The Chef)....hey bro....just how much "special" butter would go in a cup of BPC? First thing in the morning?I would imagine there is quite a difference between 1 and 2 tspns! Like ,getting about your day.....or going back to bed!!:lot-o-toke:Cheers!

I would start with 1 Tbl and see what happens from there bro. That stuff will KO you as fast as a dab once it kicks in...

Here's another update.

Harvest the second Wille Nelson, also at 21 weeks. This one turned out better than the first. It's still as ugly as Willie himself, but this one smells stronger and better than the first and seems to have more resin. Next time, I'll start bloom from a rooted clone. This plant could have kept growing.
