Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

Sorry Knife. In our IG convo, I didn't realize the instruction are with the chart. It's the chart I do not get. Like Duggan said, toss it! I think Gray, h00k and Duggan hit the nail on the head. Also, I've seen and smoked some mighty fine weed grown in 5s, thanks Morgile!

Knife, PC, Puffy, any others new to the kit or growing in general, fear not, well help you!

:passitleft:

I already had 5's on hand and I'm growing autos in a 2x4 tent three 5s fit well. 3-7s would be tight and I'd only get 2 in 10s. I'd rather keep them a bit on the smaller side so I dont over fill my little tent.
I did have an idea to have my wife cut the bottom out of three 5g fabric pots and sew them to the tops of another three , giving me 8 or 9 gallon pots but with the foot print of the 5.....

BRIXER PRICE SAVINGS ALERT!!!

I've never seen the price this low! I have to imagine it costs close to this to ship:

I just ordered three bags myself! ;)

Awesome. Will they last you think? I have a bunch on hand but that is a great price. Free shipping?

:passitleft:

I can't speak to their inventory levels or demand but with Amazon Prime there is free shipping.

Ya eh Krip. The WW i get here is about 30 bones for a 15 lb. bag also. That's from a family owned Nursery.
Ween,..ya , it's the shipping that would sting with EWC's.
Yeah, I usually pay around $30 for a 30-lb bag. I have a bag and a half on-hand, but when I saw that price I just grabbed another three. I've got two kits of soil on 3rd run now and use it for compost teas and amendments for the fruits & veggies, so it'll get used. ;)

No, meaning will they be fine if I don't use for a while. Thanks for the heads up Krip!
As long as they stay sealed in the bag and aren't subjected to extreme temps, they should be fine for years.

Hard to get a whole plant pic, without taking one out of tent. And they're heavy with water now. so here's pics. of the some tops and underneath.

Those look pretty amazing, I wouldn’t change anything you are doing.

Or do follow it too closely. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Just don't stress over it. Cultivation skills are more important than schedules. :Namaste:

Maybe its just me but when the system comes with a chart, the chart should be the correct way to use the system. No experimenting should be necessary. Someone who has never used the kit before like myself has no idea when its time to give the Cat drench, or to just alternate drenches unless you come here and read through almost 24,000 posts. I'm only on my second set of 3 plants ever and just want to be able to follow a set of instructions. I really don't have a clue what the hell I'm doing so when I'm following the included instructions only to find out oh, don't do that, you should be doing it this way. Its super frustrating. Really like the idea of the kit but maybe it's not for me...
Knifemaker, Although I'm still learning the best way to use the kit, I advise you to stick with the kit. This is my 2d. grow with the kit and I'm just now starting to get the hang of it. Seems as everyone has a different way of doing their drenches, but if we stick to the chart, then we can't go wrong. Even if you screw up, you will still have a decent grow. I've yet to see anyone fail with the kit. My 1st. grow was 'Inzane in the membrane', and it's the best I've personally smoked or grew, bar none !! And just prior to that, I grew the same strain in super soil, and the hi brix soil made a big difference, both in potency & taste, big time !! The main thing is your environment, and while mine is not perfect, I'm working on it.
If you recieved your chart a month ago it'd be newer than mine. I picked up my kit in May
I bought my kit in may or june. But then started buying quarts, instead of the 8 oz bottles, as it's cheaper like that. But they send me a chart, almost everytime I

order and they're all like this one.

So I have 4 blueberry plants I didn’t have enough cooked soil for. So I’ve purchased some promix hp and mixed with 30lbs of ewc. So can I still us my regular Brix food to feed these plants or I’m i wasting my time and money and just should buy some other form of food for my girls. Thanks all in advance.

My 5 blueberry girls in docs soil are doing just fine.
